~3 weeks later~
~Cassie~

                I walked into the building and everybody was looking at me. I just wanted to go home and sleep. The crew was at my locker smiling at me and I hugged them. Darien walked over and I looked at him. I saw Chres walking over out of the corner of my eye and knew no good was about to happen.

Darien: We need to talk.

                Chres walked by my side and handed me my drink.

Me: About what?

Darien: Us.

Me: What about us? It’s been 3 weeks since I ended things I’m over it.

Darien: You didn’t even let me explain.

Me: And you wait 3 weeks?

Darien: You wouldn’t answer my calls, nor would you let me see you at home.

Me: Explain.

Darien: The girl was new and asked me to show her around the school so I did. She asked me could she hang out with me and I was like no I have a girlfriend and she said she doesn’t have to know and kissed me I didn’t push her off because I was too shocked to even move.

                I looked at him with the straightest face.

Darien: When I’m with you I’m with you.

                He grabbed my hands.

Me: I can’t sit here and act like I fully trust you.

Darien: That’s ok because we can build our trust together.

Me: I don’t know.

Darien: I love you.

                I looked down and then at Chres who looked unamused at our conversation.

Me: I have to think about it.

Darien: I need to know by lunch.

                I nodded and he walked away not before sending a glare towards Chres.

Chres: What was that all about?

Me: He wants to get back together.

Chres: Did you tell him about us?

Me: No, it just didn’t come out.

Chres: You better tell him Wassup.

Me: Or what?

Chres: You don’t want to know.

Me: I mean we aren’t anything serious.

Chres: Because of you. You are the one that are playing games.

Me: I’ve only been out of my relationship for 3 weeks what I look like hopping back into one.

Chres: No only reason you haven’t made it official with me is because you still want to have the ability to mess around with Darien.

Me: So you saying I sleep around with n**gas now?

Chres: I mean you was messing with me when you was with Darien.

Me: Say it louder why don’t you so the whole school could hear you.

Chres: What do you want to do obviously you’re confused.

                He walked away from me and I groaned and closed my locker.

~Lunch~

                I walked to my table and put my head down and hoped that nobody bothered me. I felt people sat on both sides of me and decided not to look up.

Darien: I need my answer.

Chres: Youre answer is no.

Darien: I wasn’t talking to you.

Chres: Well obviously I was talking to you.

                I lifted my head.

Me: Could you guys not argue?

Chres: Tell him your answer.

Darien: I love you baby girl it shouldn’t be so hard.

Me: I love you too but I’m just going to take a break from guys right now and clear my head and then give you my answer can you wait for me?

Darien: I’ll give you as much time as you need.

                He kissed my head and walked off.

Chres: Good now it’s just you and me.

Me: No now it’s just me myself and I. I need to worry about myself.

Chres: What you mean you had 2 weeks at home to worry about yourself.

Me: Chres, boys are like bringing a lot of conflict into my life that I don’t need so I’m just going to not focus on yall at the moment.

                I got up and walked to the library to start on this big thing of work I had to do.

                How do you guys feel about Cassie cutting herself off from the guys and what do you thing the outcome is going to be.
