It took some time but when Res completely calmed down Vim started explaining how this multiverse worked.
"So, the are three ranks: gods, deities and normal humans and monsters"
"Gods are worshipped and normal people are the worshippers, the deities are like the mothers of the multiverse and gods are the multiverse caretakers"
"As long gods remain happy and unarmed the multiverse is 'happy', but if harmed or unhappy the multiverse itself can become 'unhappy' and 'sick' "
"Gods are needed to be always happy so the worshippers don't mind worshipping, the only thing that is important is that the gods don't abuse their power, because the multiverse itself will 'kill' the gods who do"
"..."
"So.. how did they know that we were soulmates.?"
"Well, it is because of the recent prophecy we received from one of the deities of this multiverse"
"What prophecy..?"
"..."
"Well! Why don't we introduce you to the other worshippers?"
Vim said as he brought Res happily outside the bedroom.
