Chapter 5

Mikey is dressed too lightly while snow falls around them. It creates a thin layer of soft, icy wet whiteness on the concrete ground they are on and Kakuchou's heart grows heavy. A kingdom of ice and snow, that was what they had created back then.

"Mikey-kun-"

"Are you thinking of him?" His voice is still rather youthful for approaching his adult years. Everything about him feels like time has slowed down for him starting from the day he lost his first beloved family person. His body seemed to age slower, whereas his mind had to speed up growing until no joy was left. Mikey indeed seems inhuman sometimes.
