What if a siren washes up on Hogwarts and also has magic abilities like a witch. Will this new environment change her for the better or worse. Watch as she stirs the heart of one Slytherin prince and one golden Gryffindor.
A cloudy mist slowly clears away from the shores of the Black Lake. Rubeus Hagrid, the half giant stomps his way to the shores with his best companion Fang, a large black boarhound.
"Goodness Fang that was one Storm, eh? Albus almost thought we were going to flood he he. Luckily, we didn't. "
Fang started barking and ran towards the Black Lakes shore.
"Fang what's gotten in tu yah?" Fang was hovering over debris that was washed ashore on the sandy pebbled beach. "You want me to remove it for yah?"
Fang barked in agreement. As Hagrid pulled off the debris, he saw a girl. A naked one. She had platinum blonde hair that had seaweed, sand and broken shells stuck and plaited into it. She has this gooey-like substance stuck on her skin. Hagrid took off his coat and put it on the girl. Then picked her up bridal style and started walking to Hogwarts to speak with Dumbledore. Fang didn't follow immediately he went a bit a distance away and sniffed piles of dried out scales.

A few days later. Dumbledore, Hagrid and an officer sent by the ministry of magic sat in Dumbledore's office. "The child is assumed to be a mermaid, by the blood tests it shows Mer-DNA but as well as some other genes we are still waiting to identify.
"Is she still unconscious? 'Dumbledore asked.
"Yes, but she will wake up in a few days. I suggest she comes back with us, so we are able to find a suitable place for her."
"Aiirg uh I "Hagrid gives Dumbledore a look.
Dumbledore understands. The ministry of magic is not known to be kind to magical creatures. "We will keep her here until we find her caretakers."
"(SIGH) As you wish, but we will keep tabs on her. "Dumbledore and Hagrid walk with the officer until he leaves.
"I don't mind putten her under my care, I'm quite an expert on magical creatures. "
"I agree, you'd be best suited for her-"
A bloodcurdling scream is heard. Dumbledore and Hagrid share a look and start running in the direction of the scream.
"She bit me-SHE BIT ME!"
They end up in the hospital wing with one of the nurses holding her hand and hiding in a corner. Dumbledore races to her side and sees her hand is bleeding. Only one thought remained in his head, what has he gotten himself into.
