What if a siren washes up on Hogwarts and also has magic abilities like a witch. Will this new environment change her for the better or worse. Watch as she stirs the heart of one Slytherin prince and one golden Gryffindor.
After fleeing the scene Nemo saw Hagrid and ran after him and gave him a big hug. "Well hello Nemo, didn't expect you to come out of the castle. "Hagrid smiles and looks back at the rest of the staff.
"This is Nemo, say hi Nemo. "Nemo listened to Hagrid put one of her hands down went to his side and said "HI".
While making a small wave with her free hand just like Hagrid taught her. "Well, hello. Is this the..-"
"Yes," Dumbledore answered to Minerva McGonagall.
"If she's going to keep strolling the castle, shouldn't we give her a school robe, to not attract unnecessary attention? "Questioned Severus Snape while looking at the students who were starting to come closer to look at the girl.
Dumbledore gestured for everyone including Nemo to go into the staff office. As they begin discussing what to do about Nemo. She stayed by Hagrid's side and started communicating with him.
"Nemo see friend. Friend see Nemo."
"You made a friend? "She nods and smiles. After a few minutes of talking, they came to a solution.
"We decided to treat Nemo as a student until her caretakers have been found. She won't go to the normal classes but private ones to help with her talking and understanding of Hogwarts. If she progresses, we will see if she will be able to learn any of the school's curriculum. We still need to see if she's a witch or not, we sense magic in her, but time will tell."
"If it's for the best," Hagrid exclaims. "Well start with the robes."
After a hard time taking her measurements, her robes arrived. They made her Slytherin robes for Snape to properly watch over her. They also made her schedule. They gave her the schedule, but she doesn't know what to do with it.
"Explain...room," Hagrid told her that he would explain everything in her room.
"She will need a student to help her, but they must not know what she is."
"What of Potte-"Remus Lupin tried to suggest but Snape stopped him "No."
"Well, it definitely can't be Malfoy. "Snape rolls his eyes.
"What of the Granger girl?" "That's a brilliant idea." Hagrid chimes in. "Alright I'll inform her, I'll say she suffers from amnesia and just needs support. "McGonagall states.
The staff send Nemo to her room with Hagrid escorting her. In the room Hagrid explains to Nemo that she will be taught by other people new words and new things. He explains who will help her (The ghosts) with directions and how she must act. He then shows her new robe and tells her if anyone asks, she is his niece. And that she is in Slytherin.
"Friend come tomorrow. Friend help take Nemo to teacher." She nods with understanding.
As Hagrid leaves and wishes her goodnight, she lies on her bed and wonders who will this friend be?
