"This is a time turner it lets you stay in the past for as long as you want and return to the future when you want. You will give this back to me at the end of the school year. But this is only to used for your studies and for the second thing I've come to ask you only if you agree of course."
"Thank you, Professor. What is the other thing? "McGonagall looks a nervous, perhaps about the thing she wants to ask me. "There is a new student but something tragic happened to her which caused her an immense amount of amnesia. We have to relearn her English, that is how bad it is. I know this is hard to ask Miss Granger, but we need someone to push her to the right path, help her understand Hogwarts. And most importantly have a friend...We can understand if you don't want to do this Miss Granger. You will be able to use the time turner with her if time is a problem."
I agreed. What else could I have said. They basically bribed me with the time turner. But the time turner will be extremely helpful. The poor girl I wonder what caused her to have such a bad case of amnesia, could it be Voldemort? Could it be a false memory spell that backfired? So many questions and too little answers for my liking. McGonagall said I must meet her at her room at the staff rooms after breakfast, I will have to use the time turner after breakfast in order to make it on time to class after redirecting the girl. It must be that bad if she has a room in the staff rooms. What have I gotten myself into. At least it will give me extra credit, that's a plus side. I make my way to the great hall to eat breakfast. Another long school year.
