Me: No, destroy him. Put him out of his misery.

Everyone looks over at me, shocked.

Alex: Andrew?!
Me: Yes, Alex, it's me. Now do what I say.
Alex: You want me to kill him?!

I stride over to Christopher, grab him from Rose, slam him to the ground, pull a strange contraption out of thin air, and put it to his mouth. A small wisp flies into the contraption as he completely disintegrates under me. As I get up and return the contraption to the netherworld, Alex gets in my face.

Alex: What was that for?!

Me: I told you to put him out of his misery.
Alex: But you killed him!
Me: No, Alex, I didn't kill him. I healed him of his suffering.

Alex: Suffering?!

Me: Yes. He was suffering. Whatever they did to him was literally making his spirit suffer.
Alex: And why would you care if he suffered? You hated him!

I laugh at him mirthlessly.

Me: Hated him?! No, Alex, I never hated him! I mean, I never liked him, and me and him have had our issues, but hate is never what I felt towards him. I could never bring myself to feel hate towards him, no matter how much I wanted to hate him. On the contrary, the reason I didn't fight him when we used to be part of that group was because I cared. I didn't wanna be the one bringing him harm.
Alex: Oh.
Me: Do you finally understand?
Alex: It's a lot to process, but I think I understand.
Me: Good. Now-
Ben: Wait! How are you awake?! We have spent days worrying about you and trying to figure out what was going on with you.
Me: Ben, I know that you and everyone else here wanna know what happened, but that tale will have to wait. Right now, we have more pressing matters on our hands.

He nods as I turn to Rose.

Me: Rose, I wanna thank you.
Rose: For what?

Me: For saving my life, and for stepping up in this fight. You showed amazing leadership.

Rose nods and smiles, and I turn to Siyeon.

Me: Siyeon, let me speak to you alone please. Kelleena, keep an eye on things please.

Kelleena nods as I walk with Siyeon back to my room. Locking the door behind us, I turn to her.

Me: Siyeon, why are you skeptical?
Siyeon: I don't know what you're talking about.
Me: You know better than to try to lie to me or to play dumb with me. I know you're skeptical about Rose being back.
Siyeon: Come on, Andrew, you know about gut feelings.
Me: Yes, I do. My gut feelings are never wrong.
Siyeon: Neither are mine.
Me: I see. Well, I hope for all of our sakes that your gut feeling is wrong this time.

Siyeon: For your sake, I hope so.

Me: And what is that supposed to mean?
Siyeon: Come on, Andrew, you know what I mean. You always deal with her leaving way worse than the rest of us, but you also may be too forgiving at times.
Me: There is no such thing as too forgiving. Besides, I believe you're confusing forgiveness and trust, which are completely different things. It's gonna take more than one fight for her to earn my trust back. Don't worry, okay? And be kind to her. Please, for me.

Siyeon: Fine, but don't expect me to like it!

I chuckle.

Me: I don't.

With that, I unlock the door, and we go back to the living room. As they all look at us questioningly, I speak up.

Me: Everything is alright.

I glance at Rose, and she smiles slightly.

Me: Now, I need to speak to Eunbin.

Eunbin gets up and follows me down the hallway. However, as we pass the library, she stops dead in her tracks.

Me: Eunbin, what's wrong?
Eunbin: It's calling to me.
Me: Are you sure?
Eunbin: What is it?
Me: Something that quite literally cannot be named. I can vaguely talk about it, but even then, the description will be too vague for comprehension.
Eunbin: Is it dangerous?
Me: It can be.
Eunbin: To whom?
Me: To anyone with ill intent.

She reaches out towards the door. I try to stop her, but before I can, the door swings open without being touched.

Me: That... shouldn't be possible!!
