sorry for another short one but again, i just felt this peice just need to be a separate chapter. Merry late Christmas to those of you who celebrate it and happy late boxing day to again those of you who do it.

Running. I'm in this endless void of space, everything is pitch black and fear is spreading through me like a deadly disease. "You can't run from me forever Will," echoes through this void. Magic has spoken.

"Leave me alone Magic or fight me like- like a man" I shout trying to muster up any courage I have left.

"Oh please, I don't want to fight. I just. Want. To. Talk." Magic says, appearing in front of me on the last word.

I stumble backwards, clearly taken back by Magic's demeaner.

"W-what do you want?" I stutter.

"It's not what I want Will, it's who I want Will," Magic replies.

I repeat again this time with more courage "What. Do. You. Want."

"You." Magic says calmly before suddenly lunging right into me.

I look around for a second, wondering where he went when a sudden sharp pain strikes the core of my heart. This pain spreads. It spreads and spreads and spreads until it all stops. Silence.

"Hello, Will," Magic whispers but this time, I don't hear it from the outside. I hear it as if he is IN me.

"I have taken over your body Will," magic whispers from my head again.

"Why, you are much more powerful in your own body?" I ask, struggling to maintain control over my body.

"Yes, you are right there William, but you see, it's much more fun to kill your friends first in your body than mine because you can actually see them die. And then after I kill all your friends, I will start to kill you, slowly. Bit. By. Bit. One organ at a time, one tissue at a time, one cell at a time. It will be the most satisfying victory ever. And the best part is, you can't do anything about it." Magic explained, his voice getting louder and louder.

"You are wrong Magic. I can still fight you, from the inside." I spoke.

"Ahh, but there are two flaws to your plan. One is that you are too weak to fight me, and the other is that once I even get an inkling of an idea that you have started fighting me, your friends will die. And I will make sure you will do it." Magic stated, slowly laughing at his devilishly cruel plan.

"So that's it. That is how you are going to defeat the prophecy. By an act of sheer cowardice. An almighty lord of the universe, went to such a cowardly length, just to kill a mere Earthling boy. What will the other gods say? What will lady Ova say? What will your beloved wife say? if I were her and I knew about the deed my husband had done, I would have left him." I questioned, trying to anger him, trying to make a silly mistake out of rage.

"YOU DARE QUESTION THE MIGHTY CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE'S POWER? DO YOU WISH TO DIE ON THE SPOT?" Magic bellowed inside my head making me have a major headache.

"DO IT! IT WILL ONLY SHOW HOW MUCH OF A COWARD THIS 'MIGHTY CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE' IS." I bellowed right back at him.

Magic regained his composition and said "To prove my might to you child, I will give you full control over your body. But! In three days, I will come upon Mars, and I will fight you. One fight to end them all. I will meet you at locus metendi, if you do not know where that is, ask your dear grandfather, he will know. At exactly at 5:30 in the locus metendi, we shall meet, you can bring your friends, but only you will fight. However, if you fail to come at that place by 5:30, I will make it rain hell on mars. You got that?"

"Yes, 'my lord'" I said bowing mockingly.

"Now we will see who's the coward Diaz" Magic stated.

Then I suddenly feel Magic leaving me, and it felt a huge weight lifted of my shoulders. But before I could think of the events that had just happened, I woke up, with a bunch of surrounding me. Abuelo, Keziah, Jason, Luke, Dylan, and many others.

"Will what happened are you okay?" Luke asked.

"Magic. 5:30 at locus mentendi. All hell will rain down. I have to stop him." I said before quickly passing out again, clearly exhausted from the recent events. This time, Magic wasn't there. It was just black. No dreams. No nightmares. No visions. Just black.
