"Please! Stop! I can't keep going on like this!" she screamed at me as I packed up my stuff.I was leaving her for good this time. All she was was trouble. I can't stand it anymore. When I walked outside I immediately felt the harsh summer rain pour down on me. Luckily it drowned out Christina's screaming. There was no way she would chase after me in the rain, so I walked calmly down the street until I got to the bus stop. I pulled out my change and waited in the rain.
Once the bus arrived, Charles, the bus driver asked the unanswerable question, "Where to, my boy?"
"Anywhere but here." I muttered. Charles understood. He had been through this so many times.
"Is it for good this time?" He asked me.
"That's what I'm hoping for." I told him.We sat in silence until we arrived at another stop.
"Here it is." Charles told me.
"Where am I supposed to go from here?" I asked him in a harsh tone. Today wasn't my day.
"My son, he's about your age, lives on this street. His address is 1212 Pines Rd. Have fun!" the old man answered cheerily. Nothing could put him in a bad mood. When I arrived to the address, a boy who looked about the same age as me answered. He had a Cheetos stained, white T-Shirt on with baggy grey sweatpants. He was holding an XBox controller in his hand, and over his unruly light blue hair there was a headset.
"My name is Michael, you must be Ashton." He snickered.
"Yeah... How did you..."
"My dad told me you were coming." He cut me off.
"Oh..." I said.
I wasn't much of a conversation starter.
"Come on in." He finally broke the silence. "Make yourself at home." He happily added before sitting back down on the couch to get back to his game.
"Where's my..."
"Down the hall, first door on the left." He answered, reading my mind. When I got to my temporary room I expected a mess. Surprisingly the room is clean, the bed was made, there isn't a trace of dust in here.
"That's my roommate, Luke's, room. He tidies up before he leaves." He says, explaining why it was so clean.
I swear, he can read my mind.
"God dammit, Callum!" I hear him yell.Does Callum play video games with him? Probably. When I went out I found that Michael had stopped playing video games, and was on the phone with this "Callum" guy. My stomach growled. As soon as he got off the phone, I asked what was for dinner.
"Pizza." He casually answered. "It's pizza Monday."
"Cool with me." I told him.
"Oh yeah, I hope you don't mind, my friend Callum is coming over. Oh, and Luke'll be back tomorrow, so you'll have to move to the couch." Michael said, and then walked to the phone to call the pizza guy. While he did that I went and changed out of my soaking wet clothes. After changing into a tank top, black skinny jeans, and a clean red bandanna, I walked over to the couch. I was filthy. There were Cheetos, and other random foods all over it.
"The cleaner should come tomorrow." He told me. Michael must've seen me eyeing it, either that or he read my mind.About twenty minutes later the pizza man shows up.He was tall with sandy blonde hair.To go along with that he had blue eyes. A few minutes after that Callum showss up. We ate our pizza, at chatted for a little bit.
"So what brings you here, Ashton?" Callum asked me.
"My girlfriend.. I mean ex-girlfriend is a psycho-maniac. She won't let me hang out with anyone, so I have no friends now." I answer.
"You have us now." Michael put in.
"Yeah, we don't really hang out with anyone oher than Luke, Michael, and myself. Well now also you."
"Cool." is the only thing I could think to say.The door opens breaking the silence. A guy with blonde hair, and blue eyes, almost looks like the pizza guy, walked in.
"Did Ben drop off the pizza?" he asks smiling. He has a lip ring.
"Yeah." Michael said. "Oh yeah, Ashton, Luke, Luke, Ashton." He added.
"Ashton is staying with you guys." Callum smirked.
"We don't have any room, can't he go with Callum?" Luke practically whined.
Wow that makes me feel great, no one wants me around.
"I live in a one room apartment! He'll be mmuch happier here." Callum told them.
"Anyway, I'm gonna have to live with you guys soon enought, when we move into our new house." Callum deceided to add.
"Ashton, you can sleep on the couch, or the floor. They're the same amount of dirty." Luke said glaring at Michael.
"I'll sleep on the couch." I deceided.
After a little while, everyone went to bed. I pulled Michael aside.
"I thought you said that Luke would be back tomorrow." I said.
"Let's see, he got back 2 hours ago, and it's 3 AM. I told you he would be back tomorrow at around 8:30, when you got here, so technically it is 'tomorrow'." Michael explained.
"Smart." I replied. For the next few days we went about our business. I found out that everyday was "pizza Monday", or "pizza Tuesday", as Michael called it. His favorite snack was Cheetos. That's basically what filled the majority of the cabinets.
Callum came over often. Sometimes he brought his girlfriend Kaia. She was short, with short brown hair. I would say she was beautiful.
One day at around noon Luke came out and told us he had a big announcement.
