That night, Kim Seokjin, as promised, went to Kim Namjoon's aunt's house to pick him up. He was about to knock on the door when the woman's bitter cursing sounded, making him hesitate a bit. After a few seconds, the door opened. He and Kim Namjoon both looked at each other with wide eyes. Realizing that his right cheek was swollen, he was clear of the situation just now; a nameless frustration made him frown.
"She hit you?"
Kim Namjoon saw the anger in the other's eyes and was a bit dumbfounded. Is he angry because I was beaten?
He was about to rush into the house to figure things out when Kim Namjoon hastily closed the door and pulled him to the car. Jin was trying to pull his hand away from the younger's big hand when the other's low voice rang out.
"It's okay, I'm used to it. I'm leaving this place so don't be angry anymore. You can make up for it later, right, hyung?"
"Uhm, I will love and make up for you from now on" - Seokjin gently patted the back of the younger's hand.
Kim Namjoon heard that and suddenly stopped, turned around, and pulled the older in a tight hug.
"Promise?"
"Yes, I promise."
Arriving at the Kim mansion, Kim Namjoon was surprised by the spaciousness, luxury, and facilities. Seokjin quickly took Namjoon to the fourth room from his room on the second floor.
-"I just moved into this villa a week ago, before my father and I lived in an apartment in the downtown area. In terms of age, you're fourth, so you'll stay in room four. For now, it's just you and me at the villa. If you need anything, feel free to call me. Rest well. I still have to find the other kids tomorrow."
"Hyung, I don't have to go to school tomorrow. Can I come with you?"- Before Seokjin turned away, Namjoon hesitantly suggested.
"Sounds good. We'll go find the kids tomorrow."

The next morning, Kim Namjoon got up early and waited for his brother downstairs in the living room. Seokjin went downstairs and caught the younger man reading a book with his head down. The corners of his mouth curled up; he slowly walked over to ask the younger a few questions. Then the two of them got into the familiar Mercedez car and left the Kim villa.
.
The car sped along the road and stopped at the biggest amusement park in the city. Kim Namjoon went to an amusement park for the first time, so he couldn't help but be puzzled. He glanced around with amusement and fear due to the unfamiliar excitement. Seokjin chuckled at his bewildered face, then raised his teasing tone.
"Stick close on me like those children following their parents. I don't wanna run to the customer care center to find a lost child, Namjoon-ah"
Kim Namjoon heard the older joking with him, his face turned red. He embarrassedly reached out his hand and held Jin's, softly speaking.
"This way, we won't be separated."
Seeing his shyness, Kim Seokjin couldn't help but burst out laughing.
The two stopped at the staff members who were posing famous cartoon characters like Micky Mouse, Donald Duck, Pooh Bear, Simba, Cinderella, Prince, Sleeping Princess, etc. all kinds of characters that kids loved.
Although Kim Namjoon knew these characters, he did not love animation and fairy tales, especially the main characters. Compared with the gentle, stupidly honest protagonists, he found the villains sly and full of tricks more eye-catching. But the big brother next to him seemed to have the innocent and pure soul of a child who had grown up in a happy family full of love. When he looked at those bright and pure eyes, Kim Namjoon suddenly wanted to destroy it ruthlessly and thoroughly, just like the way this goddamn society had tormented him for so many years.
