Studying (Kei Tsukishima)

The phone on your desk gently vibrated, indicating a notification. Even though there's a teacher talking about Literature in front of the class for your last subject today, you still opened up your phone to see who texted you and made sure that your phone is not in the sight of your teacher.

It was a text message from Kei Tsukishima, your boyfriend.

We'll go home together today. Let's study.

Your nose scrunched as you read his message. Yes, you are excited to go home together with him, but thinking that you have to endure long hours of studying, it's already giving you a headache.

Still, you hit him with a reply.

Can't we just go home together, Kei?

As soon as you sent the message, he replied.

No. Exam Week is coming up, and you suck on studying, _________. Just be glad I'm doing this with you.

You sighed, a little irritated that he's right about what he said. You are both in the 3rd year of high school and you couldn't take the risk of failing, it will be hard for you to enter your preferred college if you did.

You didn't respond to his last message, and at least tried to focus on what your teacher was saying in front of the class. But, your teacher's already done discussing and is just reminding you to do your best on the upcoming exams.

Moments later, the class for the day is done. You excitedly went out of the room to look for Kei, he and Tadashi Yamaguchi are just in the classroom next to yours.

Your head turned in the direction of the voice that called your name, it was Tadashi. He's shyly waving at you.

"Tadashi-kun!" You smiled as you walked towards him. "Please," your hands captured his waving hand to gently squeeze on it. "Tell me that you're going to study with us."

Yamaguchi's face turned crimson as soon as he felt your soft hands holding on his, "I..."

Then, you hear the familiar voice from behind you. "He's not coming."

"Tsukki!" Yamaguchi abruptly pulled his hand from your hold, getting bashful.

You looked behind you to see Kei standing there, holding a bunch of papers in one hand. "Kei, where have you been?" You asked, turning your whole body to face him.

"I photocopied my notes for you." Tsukishima scoffed before he handed you the papers he's holding, then turned to Yamaguchi. "We'll get going." He nodded to him and Yamaguchi did the same, as Kei pulled your wrist to walk with him.

"See you tomorrow, Tadashi-kun!" You also waved him goodbye.

The walk from Miyagi Prefecture to Kei's home was quiet, he was just holding on to your wrist as the both of you walked. You had to walk along with him and his big footsteps. None of you talked about anything until you arrived at the front of his house.

He swiftly unlocked the front door and let you in first. It's not your first time in the Tsukishima household, and you're comfortable in the atmosphere of their house.

"Your mom's not here?" You asked Kei after he turned on the lights in the living room.

"She's probably out buying ingredients for dinner. I told her you're coming here." Kei guided you to the familiar path towards his room.
