Samantha Lee Smarty ** Sammi
1
A dark haired girl with olive green eyes sat on her bed sulking. She hated that she had to start a new high school where she knew no one at all. Dread was the only word that circled her mind. How were these new people going to react to her? Yes, she seemed like a normal teen, but she also had a secret.
If angered she could light her hands up in defense. The glow was a handed down "gift" from her mother. Her mother had gotten this power from a comet that had hit the treehouse she was in with her brothers and (a secret) sister at the time. Shego's sister wanted nothing to do with the family after that and moved out to live with an aunt and uncle. Sammi's mother though didn't want her to use the power. She wanted her child to be as normal as possible.
For the last fifteen years Sammi had only known the ins and outs of Worcester, MA. Her father, Martin Smarty, had moved headquarters of his company from Middleton to the Worcester area of MA then back here. He travelled a lot for his company and just in general.
She'd been living with him during the months when school was in.
Her mother, Shego/Shannon, lived in Greece and Sammi would go visit. Now her mother was back and living in Middleton. Now she was trying to resettle herself.
Sammi was happy when her mother said she was moving back to the states.
Shego found a place and wanted Sammi to come live with her. Her father didn't mind it because he was always super busy. She though liked being alone in a big mansion. She loved Thellma and Doris his maids and they loved her too.
As much as she hated this she gave in and was enrolled for the second half of sophmore year in a new school. There was sign out front that said, 'Go Mad Dogs! Bark it loud and proud!' That made her laugh.
It was scary to be here. She had no friends and was a loner. It was sorta hard for her to make friends and keep them. Books were her besties and her sketch book with colored pencils were too. They were the things that made her happy.
Her mother had said if she moved to Middleton with her that she wouldn't move again. That made Sammi really happy.

Right now she just wanted to talk to her half-brother Artie. He was her best friend, but he was much older than her. He was twenty-eight now. She had turned sixteen on the 22nd of January. Now it was the second week of February.
Switching schools was one of the hardest things to do. She was kinda awkward around new people.
She had some of her classes now scribbled down and was trying to figure out where they were. A lot of people looked right through her and others shoved her out of the way. High school, great new beginning of a nightmare.
The first few classes were good and she thought the teachers liked her already. She'd always been a good student. Her grades were usually A's and B's.
"Who is the new girl?" Teddie Engmire, a slim blonde girl asked her best friend Amaris Lizst.
Amaris shrugged, "Dunno." She turned to her left, "Ky! Kylie! Have you ever seen that girl before?"
Red headed Kylie turned to them. She then looked up to see the new girl standing awkwardly in the gymnasium. "She looks oddly familiar, but I've never seen her before."
Teddie smirked. "I'll be back in a few minutes."
Kylie and Amaris watched her along with Daniel Blufinn and Stark McAlly. The guys were on the football team. All of the girls were a part of the cheer team too.
