Waking up with a bump against her arm, she jumps, "Ow." She winces.

"Sorry, meant to go soft, didn't see the pot hole in the road." He looks over at her, while driving, then back onto the road, "How are your legs feeling?"

She looks down and wiggles her toes, "Cold."

"I believe it!" He chuckles, "How long were you out there without some shoes?"

"I don't own shoes." She looks at him and shrugged.

"How do you have clothes like that, and no shoes?" He starts getting concerned.

She looks down and sees a dress with the same pattern as the coat she fell asleep under. She looked behind her and the coat was a cloak laying down her back, "Woah." She verbalizes her reaction.

"Alright Jane, let's go." He parks the car in front of a tall building.

"My name is Trinity." She said looking at the door, "How do I open this?"

"I got it." He walks out and around the car then opens her door, "Just, step out." He holds out his hand.

She takes his hand, steps out of the car but stumbles, "Sorry." She stands up straight.

"All good, let's get you inside." He starts walking towards the building and she follows behind him.

She stands behind him as he goes to the front desk, "Can I check-in someone that I found?"

"Found?" The lady at the desk looks over at Trinity, "Do you know her name?"

"She says that it's Trinity." He explains, "But that's all I know."

"Okay, thank you." She checks her in, "We can take her from here."

"Can I put my information in for an emergency contact?" He asks.

"Of course." He opens Trinity's file on the computer, "Your name sir?"

"Charlie Mathews." He answers.

"Alright Mr. Mathews I'll transfer your information to her emergency contact." She smiles at him.

"Thank you." He turns to Trinity, "These people are going to take care of you, okay?"

"Where are you going to be?" She asks.

"I'm going to my home, but they have my information incase anything happens or if you need me for some reason." He smiles, "But nothing will happen, you're safe here."

"I never got your name." Trinity asks as he is about to walk out.

"Charlie." He smiles, then leaves.

"Trinity?" A feminine voice says from behind her, "Come with me."

She follows the woman into a small room with two chairs and a bed, "Where am I?"

"The doctors office." She answers, "I am a nurse, the doctors assistant."

"And why am I here?" She sits on the bed.

"We heard you were found in the woods, we want to make sure you're okay, and healthy." The nurse sat down in the chair next to the bed.

"My arms hurt." She says, "Someone threw something at me."

"Okay." The nurse gets some tools, "Let me take a look." She takes a hold of Trinity's arm and rolls her sleeve up to see the blue and purple bruises trail from her wrist to her shoulder.

"Oh my." The nurse puts her sleeve back down. "I'm going to have you change so we can have a closer look at this."

"Okay." She smiles, "Change what?"

"Your clothes," The nurse hands her a gown, "Tie it in the front, and click this green button by the door when you're all dressed and ready." She then leaves the office.

Trinity takes the cloak off first, then falls to the ground. Shes a bird again. She looks at the cloak and goes under it again. She's human. "What in the world." She changes into the gown, without taking off the cloak, then hits the green button by the door.

The nurse from before comes in with a male, "Cold?"

"Yeah." She smiles.

"Alright Trinity." The doctor sits down, "Do you know what hit your arm?" He started to look at the colorization of her arm.

"No idea." She started explaining, "It came out of nowhere."

"With something this impactful, you have to have known what hit you." He goes to get some tools, the ones that the nurse left out from before.

He does all of these different tests that she doesn't recognize at all, but they are painful.

"We're going to need an x-ray and a CT scan." He tells the nurse, "Move her to an overnight room."

"Overnight?" Trinity gets worried, "Can I call Charlie?"

"Charlie Mathews?" The doctor looks through her file, "Of course."

The doctor and the nurse leave. Trinity remembers, and thinks out loud, "Mathews? Why does that sound familiar?"
