Where am I?

Alex's POV.

I woke up unfamiliar of my surroundings. I tried to get up but boy did it hurt. Where am I and what happened? Everything came back to me, my dad and brother beating me and me running off to the lot.

I got scared, what if a soc got me? What if someone that my dad knows has me? All these questions were running through my head when I heard a deep voice say "are you alright?" I opened my eyes and saw a boy around his 20's looking down at me with a worried look.

"Who are you and why am I here? Do you work for my dad?!" I said still scared out of my mind. "My names Darry, my brothers saw you last night in the lot all beat up so they took you to our house to help you." I heard him say, I felt relieved. But why would someone want to help me? I gave him a weak smile and sat up groaning. "You want some pain killers?" Darry asked, I nodded. He went somewhere and came back with a glass of water and some pills and I took them.

I heard the door open and I snapped my head towards it. I saw 6 boys, and may I saw weren't they handsome. They all rushed to my side surprisingly and started shooting me questions asking if I was alight. "Give her some space, y'all are crowding her" Darry said. I mentally thanked him.

"So are you okay?" one with movie star looks said with a worried facial expression. "Yeah I'm fine, I've gotten worse" I said and it's true. My dad once pulled a switch on me. "What do you mean?" I heard most of them say. "I mean that I've gotten a worse beating than that, he usually pulls a switch on me but I kneed em where the sun don't shine so bright and ran out before he could." I said, wow did I really just open up to 7 boys I don't even know. oh well they were gonna find out sooner or later. "Wait who? Who would do that to you?" I heard them all say. "My stupid ass father and brother" I replied looking anywhere but them.

"Well you're always welcome here if you ever need a place to stay" a boy with blonde hair and green eyes say. He was cute but no as cute as movie star over there. "Nah it's alright, you've probably already had enough of me" I said. "What are you kidding?! We don't even know your name yet!" One with a Mickey shirt said. I laughed "well I'm Alex, and y'all are....?" I asked. "I'm sodapop" movie star said. "Original name, I like it" I said back. He smiled and I returned him one. "Ponyboy" the one with blonde hair and green eyes said. "Also original, I dig" I replied smirking. He looked down turning a shade of pink. "I'm Two-bit gorgeous" the one with a Mickey shirt said. "Nice to meet you twobit gorgeous" I replied giggling. All the guys burst out laughing. "I'm dally doll face, pleasure meetin ya" the tough looking one said. "You too doll face" I replied. They all laughed again. "Steve, but you can call me daddy if you want baby" one with an eagle tattoo said. "I'll pass on that one baby" I replied. They laughed, AGAIN. Damn im funny, ha. "I'm Johnny" I heard a boy with dark skin and beautiful brown eyes say. Boy was he cute. "Nice to meet you johnny, what's your last name?" I asked. Maybe I could make a nickname for em. "Cade" he said looking down. "Hmm ima call you johnnycake if that's alright with ya" I said giggling. "They already call me that" he said laughing. "Great minds think alike" I replied smirking.

"I like this girl" I heard twobit say. "Who wouldn't" I said not letting my smirk leave my face. They all laughed.
We talked and cracked jokes for a little while until I looked at the clock and it said, 11:00?! "Shit! My dads going to kill me" I said getting up. "What do you mean?" Pony asked. "I mean that if I don't go home now he'll probably find me and beat the living shit out of me" I replied frantically. I was about to leave when soda grabbed my wrists and turned me to face him. He was worried and said "Stay here, please. We can't risk you getting hurt". I thought about it for a minute.

My dad won't be able to find me here since it's so far away from our house. "Fine" I said and sat down between Johnny and Dally. "But I need something to sleep in if im crashing here" I said. "I got that covered" pony said. He ran upstairs and came back with a pair of black sweatpants and a tight white t-shirt and handing it to me.

"Well I'm not getting changed infront of 6 teenage boys so where's the bathroom" I said. Pony laughed and directed me to the bathroom. I went in and quickly got changed but and then put my clothes on the counter so I could change into them tomorrow.

I walked out and everyone's eyes were on me, even quiet johnny. I put my hands on my hips. "May I help you" I asked laughing and then sitting back in between Johnny and dally. They went back the their conversations and I was talking to Johnny.

"So Johnny, why are you so quiet? I really wanted to talk to you but you're like a mouse" I said giggling. He looked up with a sly smile on his face and said "I don't know just not that much of a talker". I looked at him and frowned then turned my body and sat cross legged on the couch facing him.

"Well how can I make you be a talker" I asked smiling. He sat the same way I was "well, start a conversation" he said. "Let's play 20 questions" I said smirking. He gave me a sly smirk too, well this isn't the Johnny I knew 5 minutes ago now was it. He replied with an okay. "You go first" he said. I nodded. "Favorite color" I asked. "Really? red" he asked laughing. I laughed back. "Full name" he said. "Alexandra Isabella Amato" I answered. "Italian huh?" He asked. I nodded giggling.

It went on like this until we ran out of questions. I looked around the room to see pony and soda passed out on the floor. Dally must of left because he isn't anywhere in site, Darry said earlier he was going to bed, and twobit well twobit was watching Mickey as usual.

I looked at Johnny to see he was already looking at me. I smiled and yawned. "Tired?" He asked me. I nodded and laid my head on his shoulder falling asleep almost instantly. The last thing I remembered was feeling a pair of strong arms wrap around me.
