Chapter 4: "Hello new friends!"

*I love the reviews this book is given, I am enjoying this book and the process of creating it. I hope it is not disappointing in any way. So far I am trying to include three characters that have the romantic opportunity to woo (Y/n). Hopefully, everyone enjoys how I choose to plot it all out.*

(Y/n) and Freddy made their way towards the Daycare of the pizza plex intent to find Gregory and assist him in finding an escape from the mall.

Or more so (Y/n) than Freddy.

Freddy followed along to protect the now defenseless Security guard not that he necessarily needed protecting but it made the animatronic feel better considering the poor man's handicap.

Freddy watched the man stay on the bear's right side, allowing the bear's size as a sense of direction. Leaving Freddy to be the one to navigate the two through the Security S.T.A.F.F. bots.

They had very quickly realized that the Security S.T.A.F.F. bots were now also searching for Officer (Y/n), Officer Vanessa had probably programmed them to search for him after his sudden radio silence.

But Officer (Y/n) had avoided them like the plague, after asking why Officer (Y/n) chose to avoid the Security robots Officer (Y/n) answered Freddy by stating 'he never liked them'.

Freddy chose not to respond and led the way paying no mind to the Security  S.T.A.F.F. bots but stopped and waited patiently for Officer (Y/n) to catch up and avoid the programmed paths the bots took.

Freddy did not entirely understand why Officer (Y/n) disliked the Security S.T.A.F.F. bots, he knew (Y/n) liked Roxy, Chica and himself, and somewhat Monty. Why did (Y/n) avoid the S.T.A.F.F. robots? Why did he refuse to seek Officer Vanessa's help? Surely the two had a friendship.

Freddy had overheard some of the conversations Officer (Y/n) and Officer Vanessa had over the radio late at night. The two talked of meaningless things, Officer (Y/n) carried most of the conversations the two held. Though Freddy could tell that Officer Vanessa listened intently. 

Officer Vanessa had always been a mystery to the group, she was not one for cheerful behavior or fun for that matter. Even though that sincerely disappointed Freddy. 

But he quickly learned that everyone is different in their own way.

Yet she always answered Officer (Y/n)'s questions and responded to the man's conversations if not with a small percent of her two cents.

 Officer Vanessa seemed to have a soft spot for her associate from what Freddy could tell, she allowed Officer (Y/n) more freedom at the mall than what he was permitted not that Freddy minded. He greatly enjoyed the conversations he had with Officer (Y/n).

Plus Officer (Y/n)'s visits greatly improved Roxy's mood when she was particularly saddened on those days.

This is why Freddy intended to help Gregory and Officer (Y/n) in any way he could. He would defend the two if he had to but he sincerely hoped not. 

He didn't want to fight any of his friends.

Which led back to his current predicament.

Why did this happen this night? Who injured and handicapped one of their best security guards? Why were they after Gregory? 

Freddy found it extremely alarming that Officer (Y/n) had seen the intruder yet none of the Security S.T.A.F.F. bots had been alerted by a trespasser nor any of his friends who searched for Gregory had not seen this intruder as well.

Freddy feared what someone who couldn't be seen would be capable of.

Finally, (Y/n) and Freddy reached their destination, finding a slide that read 'slide in to fun' above it.
