Chapter 8~ The Day of the Dragon

Grace's POV:

 After Lloyd and the others gainned control of the island Chen took Skylor and I and now we are tied in chains.

"This is all my fault... I am so sorry sis!" Skylor says to me.

Why do big sisters always have to be the "what I am doing is right" type and then if they relise they made the wrong decission become all mopey and say "this is all my fault!!!!!!! :(" But I felt bad for my sister and if she is all mopey it hinders our escape possibility so I had to do somthing!

"It is not your fault." I say.

As I excpected I got "Mopey Skylor!"

"I trusted Chen and now look at what happend because of me!"

Augh! So annoying!

"We can't look back! We can only look forward! You may have made a bad choice but that means you have to stop moping and percevere to make things right! Besides, what would Kai say if he saw you like this?"  I say.

When I said the last part Skylor blusehed and her eyes wided.

"I don't...We are not..." She says blushing even more.

"You can't lie to me, sis." I say smiling at her.

She smiles back.

Before we could contine our "lovely" conversation, Chen comes.

"Great!" I mumble to Skylor.

"UNTIE THEM!" Chen says.

He is ordering us to be untied? Somthing must be up.

"Grace, Skylor! How dare they tie you two up!" Chen says.

He smiles at us but I see the glee in his eyes.

"Cut the sweet - talk, Chen!" I say.

"Sweet talk? What are you talking about? You two are my daughters!" He says.

I can see sweat forming as he tries to trick us.

What is he planning?

As I try to figure out his plan Skylor says:

"Don't call us your daughters! We want nothing more to do with you."

I can see Chen is trying to make it look like he is hurt by our comments.

I love when Skylor gets like this. I call it "Sassy Skylor" . I give her a look saying:

"You go, girl!"

"Skylor, Grace! I'm hurt." Chen says sweating even more.

I've got it!

"YOU WANT TO USE SKYLOR TO DO THE SPELL SINCE SHE HAS COPPIED EVERY ELEMENT!" I shout.

"Doing that could hurt me, or worse!" Skylor says.

"You didn't think this through!" I say.

"Nah! Plan is perfect!" Chen says.

"You only thought of your own, selfish wants!" I spit.

"But I am still your father! And without power I am insanificant! Would you do that to your poor father?" Chen says.

"RUN!" I say and Skylor and I make a brake for it.

"Get them!" Chen shouts.

Crutits come after us but we use our powers to out - wit them.

"Your not insagnificant! Your pitiful!" Skylor and I both say.

"Must I listen to these insults? Will someone please, GET THEM!?" Chen shouts but we manage to escape.

"We better split up!" I say.

"Skylor!" We hear a voice, it is Kai.

"Kai!" Skylor says.

Kai comes towards us and I raise and eyebrow and say:

"Sure there is nothing between you two?"

  They both blush and tell me to shut up.

"I'll leave you two lovebirds and go find Lloyd." I say.

I leave them with them blushing like mad.

I go to where Lloyd, Garmadon and the others are.

As soon as I arrive Lloyd turns around and sees me and picks me up and twirls me around.

Lloyd's POV:

Grace has told us what happend with Skylor. However, before we can say anything my dad starts yelling in pain and glowing purple.

"Dad what is wrong?" I say.

My father stops glowing and we realise he is an Anacondri.

"The transssformation issss complete!" He says.

"Skylor is in danger!" Grace says.

(Grace didn't get turned into one because she earased her mark.)

Just then Nuro gets a message from Skylor and says:

"Kai and Skylor are on their way back now!"

I hear Grace give a sigh of relife.

Just then the critis we had captured turn into Anacondri and brake free and try to attack us.

What if my dad becomes evil (again..) too?

"No..." I mumble.

My dad seemed to have know what I was thinking because he said:

"Don't worry, I am always on your side!"

We smile at each other.

The Anacondri are too strong so we all go to hide in Chen's Palace.

BANG! BANG! BAN-    

The banging stopped.

We go to look only to see that Chen took our only way of getting back home leaving us stranded here.

Since I am the only one with a elamental dragon we can't get home..

Until...

Zane comes on a elamental dragon and tells us that he conqured his fear and tamed the dragon and then everyone else summons their elamental dragons.

"Nice dragon." I say to Grace.

"Thanks! Yours too!" She replies.

Grace's POV:

I turn to Lloyd and say:

"Chen gathered us together so that only one can remain, however, he didn't count upon us fighting as one!"
