Kameyo hopped off the truck and decided to flee. (If I get infected, it's all up to Lynn..but I can't just leave her alone like that..)Kameyo thought. She was so deep in thought that she never realised that she was about to run into a tree in front of her. Kameyo ran into the tree and fell to the ground, grunting in pain. Unfortunately, Hank caught up with Kameyo.

"Lynn run! Save yourself!" Kameyo said before barely dodging Hank's attack. Lynn heard Kameyo shout. She nodded before sprinting to a hiding spot. (I think I lost them? God dang it Kameyo, why must you leave me?") Lynn grabbed one of the tubes that contained the cure and used a syringe to suck the liquid up. She then ran back to Kameyo, shocked to see what she saw.

"It's too late...She got bitten, now she's infected..No..no..why.." Lynn mumbled as tears started to roll down her cheek. Just then, Kameyo noticed Lynn in her hiding spot. (Shit. I got caught.) She thought to herself. Lynn immediately got out of her hiding spot and ran as fast as her leg could carry her. It hurts her to know that her own best friend's life is in danger. Soon after running for a long period, Lynn stopped to gain some stamina. She was almost breathless but needed to carry on.

She then got an idea. "Hey Kameyo! Over here mate," She shouted as loud as she could. She then got in position while holding her axe. Kameyo ran faster than the speed of light, launching herself at Lynn. Fortunately, Lynn used the flat side of her axe and bashed Kameyo up into the air as she did not want to hurt her best friend. She may be small but she sure has strength.

She then launched herself into the air getting closer to Kameyo. She strangled Kameyo before injecting the cure into her neck. (I'm sorry if I hurt you,Kameyo. I have to do what I need to do.) She then grabbed Kameyo's hand and smashed Kameyo into the ground. She landed safely on a tree nearby. She quickly climbed out of the tree and hurried over to her injured friend.

She placed her axe back in the sling and took out her first aid kit, treating the wounds she had caused. She hated hurting her friends. Tears slowly formed under her eye before sliding down her cheeks while putting her friend's head on her lap. She hid behind a bush .Kameyo's eyes slowly opened after a few minutes had passed.

"L-Lynn? What happened-" She got cut off by Lynn placing a finger on her lips. "Shh! Hank and the rest are still trying to find us, I did save you but I may have caused some injuries, are you still able to fight?" Lynn questioned, she was relieved that Kameyo was still alive.
Kameyo nodded before trying to get up. "Ouch.. fuck- you really meant it when you said you've done some injuries to me" Kameyo joked sarcastically. "It's not funny, you know, here let me help you," Lynn said as she got up abruptly before helping Kameyo stand up.

The two females could hear footsteps coming closer. (Shit, they found us.) Lynn cursed under her breath. "Run." Kameyo said as she grabbed Lynn's hand and ran as fast as they could. Lynn got a glimpse and figured it was Hank who found them. Sadly, Hank was as fast as them and eventually caught up with the females.

Hank grabbed Lynn and punched her. "Lynn!!" Kameyo stopped in her tracks to see Lynn sitting on Hank's shoulder as she strangles him, while Hank was trying to pry her off Good thing Lynn was flexible, otherwise it would be impossible to escape that death grip. "Kameyo, the syringe!!!!" Lynn shouted, trying to get a hold of Hank. Kameyo sucked up the liquid with the syringe before tossing it to Lynn. She caught it and injected the cure into Hank's before anything else could happen.

Kameyo walked towards them to check up on the two. "You guys alright there?" Kameyo asked with a calm but worried tone, "Kameyo? What happened? " Hank asked. "And why is Lynn on my shoulder..?" "Oh sorry..." Lynn jolted before trying to climb down. Hank held Lynn's waist before carrying her down. "Thanks..." Lynn mumbled embarrassed by the sudden act.

"I'll explain when we get back to our base, for now, we'll have to find Deimos and Sanford. " Kameyo answered.
