No one's POV :
The three boys were sitting in the waiting room as they waited for Lynn and Kameyo. Hank stared at Deimos and Sanford in disappointment, while Sanford and Deimos were regretting what they did. They fidget with their hands while waiting nervously for the doctor.
Sanford's POV :
After hearing what Lynn said much earlier, I realised how stupid I was. Why would I even have the guts to hurt my friend? It was because of my stupid idea. Why did I even do that? I'm such an idiot...
I felt tears forming under my eye as I began to cry.
I'm so stupid.
Deimos' POV :
I could not believe Lynn's explanation. It mustn't be true. Right? Unfortunately it wasn't some sort of dream. I nearly killed my friend just because of a stupid virus. Fuck..why must everything be so shit. Please let the two of them be okay. I can't lose either of them...
Eventually, I started to cry.
No one's POV :
Deimos and Sanford we're having a breakdown session, while Hank just sat there watching them. Soon,
the doctor then exited emergency room.
"So? How are they?" Deimos stood up as he asked the doctor.
"Lynn should be able to be discharged by next week. For Kameyo... I'm not so sure.. Since her condition is quite serious." The doctor informed the boys.
Just then, Hank, Deimos and Sanford saw Lynn walking out of the room with crutches towards them.
"Lynn! I'm so glad you're alright! I'm so sorry for hurting you, I am so sorry-.." He was then cut off by Lynn.
"Shh, it's alright, i know you didn't mean to hurt me, i forgive you," Lynn smiled while placing a hand on Deimos cheek. "T-thank you..." Deimos sniffed as he thanked her. "Doc...is there any way we can go see Kameyo?" Sanford asked. "Yes there is, she should be awake by now. She is in room 197, level 2." The doctor answered.
"Can I please come too? I know I need rest, but please let me see my best friend!" Lynn pleaded. "Sure thing, but remember to go back to your room after that." the doctor added on. As soon as the doctor left the waiting room, the group rushed towards room 197, where Kameyo was.
The door to room 197 swung open as Sanford, Deimos, Hank and Lynn entered the room. "Oh hey guys! What's up?" Kameyo greeted them. "Kameyo!!" Lynn said eagerly before struggling to get to Kameyo. She then hugged Kameyo in relief. "Thank God you're okay." Lynn commented. Kameyo giggled in response as she hugged Lynn back before letting Lynn sit down.
"Hey...uh..Kameyo..?" Sanford interrupted as he walked towards Kameyo and sat beside her bed . "Look... I'm truly sorry for what I've done...I nearly killed you..and it's the second time...I'm sorry Kameyo. I genuinely don't know what I was even doing. I'm such a fucking idiot." Sanford said as started to cry. Kameyo held Sanford's hand as a way to comfort him. Lynn backed away to give them some space but almost lost balance. Luckily, Hank caught her in time. "T-thanks..." Lynn mumbled
"Sanny, I understand you don't mean your actions. It's alright, you're not an idiot. There..there...stop crying already. I'm still alive, ya dummy." Kameyo said as she comforted Sanford. Sanford slightly blushed at the fact she called him 'Sanny' as he looked away for a few seconds, in embarrassment. "I guess you're right..." Sanford sniffed. Hank was really glad that the two females made it out alive.
~ Time skip to both Lynn and Kameyo getting discharged from the hospital ~
"I'm glad you two are alright." Hank said as the group exited the hospital.
"I am too, but unfortunately I'm gonna have to use the crutches for another week or so." Lynn sighed. "Man... I have to sit in this crappy wheelchair for like a few days? Even though I can walk perfectly fine." Kameyo complained as she shifted uncomfortably in the wheelchair.
"You guys wanna get a hot dog?" Deimos asked the group
"No thanks, I'll just wait for you guys?" Lynn suggested
"I'm not hungry so I'll skip." Hank added.
"I guess why not." Kameyo answered.
"Dei, you know what? I'll get one too. Thanks." Sanford replied.
The assassins then bought their food and went back to their base.
