Olivia's POV:
Today is my day to pick up Noah. You and Alex are both tied down at work for the moment but I don't mind getting to spend some one-on-one time with Noah.
The bells ring loudly bringing my focus back to school just in time to see my boy running towards me. "Hi, mom!" Noah yells barling towards me with a grin plastered on his face.
"Hi, buddy. Did you have a good day at school?" I asked him running my fingers through his curly hair. He nods with a bright smile. "That's great buddy. Come on let's go home." I tell him grabbing his hand to walk.
"Wait," he yells pulling his hand away from mine. I stop to see to him swinging his bookbag around to his front opening the bag up. "I have to show you what I made in art class today," he exclaims pulling a small poster out of his bag. I smile waiting patiently for him to hand it over.
Finally, he passes the poster to me. I open it up looking at the colorful drawing. "This is beautiful Noah." he smiles up at me. "She said to draw our family. So that's me, you, mommy, and lex. " he tells me pointing to each figure on the poster. "That's nice Noah I'm sure they will love it!" I tell him looking over his work. At the top of the poster, it's titled "My three moms." I smile looking back down at Noah. "Is that okay mom?" he asked him with big brown eyes. I nod my head not trusting my voice as tears well up in my eyes.
"Do you think mommy and Lex will be okay with it?" he asked. I smile once more leaning down to kiss his cheek " I'm sure they'll love it. And Lex will love it too." I tell him grabbing his hand as we walk home.
