Chapter 10

Third Person's Pov:

"Lost.... How can you soo easily say that you lost the rings Rishabh " Kritika asked whereas Rishabh shake his head

"It's not in the cupboard Badi maa... We checked the whole cupboard infact mom also checked with me " Rishabh said whereas Shubman shake his head

"That's ridiculous Rishabh.... You've been given one job and that too you couldn't do it properly" Ishan said whereas Rishabh gritted his teeth giving him a look

Ishan pushed him lightly while he turns towards his mother who was having a worried look on her face "Mom you don't worry I'll go and look for the ring " Ishan said whereas Shubman was just standing silently glaring towards him

"And you too Rishabh .... You'll help me ... Afterall it's your mistake" Ishan said smacking Rishabh on his head lightly "But we don't have much time Ishan.... Muhurat sirf aadhe ghante Tak kaa he hai " Ishan's father said

"Don't worry dad.... We'll try to find the ring as soon as possible" Ishan said and both he and Rishabh were going to leave from there that's when Shubman stopped them

"Wait a minute you guys " Shubman said as Ishan and Rishabh stopped whereas Shubman turned facing towards his mother

"There is no need to search for the rings mom " Shubman said whereas Shriya, Ishan, Rishabh and Arshita looked towards him with a confused look

"What.... But why " Kritika asked with a question look on her face "Because I have the rings " Shubman said and Ishan looked towards him with a shocked look

"What" Ishan asked whereas Shubman scoffed "Yeahh.... Well I already bought a ring you know as a small present for my would be wife " Shubman said while taking out a small box from his pocket while he slightly glanced towards Arshita who was looking towards him all numb

"I thought to give it to her when the right time comes .... Like after our engagement but there is already a chaos before our engagement only.... As Rishabh said he lost the rings .... It's okay .... I've still got one more ring that I can make Shriya wear " Shubman said turning towards Shriya who was looking towards him with a shocked look on her face while tears were filled up in her eyes

"But Shriya doesn't have a ring to exchange with you Shubi" Rishabh said whereas Ishan was just looking towards him with a hurt look on his face

"Well that's no problem.... She can make me wear the ring on our wedding day.... But I'll make her wear the ring today only accepting her as my fiancee with my whole heart " Shubman said while taking out the ring from the box

"Yeahh that will probably be okay " Kritika said nodding while giving a small smile whereas shriya's parents also nodded "That will be probably for the best" Shriya's mother said while she stands beside Shriya who was just looking towards Ishan with tearful eyes

"Well if everybody is okay with that .... Then let's continue" Shubman said and turned towards Shriya who also looked towards him

He takes shriya's left hand in his hand when his eyes fell on that promise ring "You are not doing right Shubi" Shriya murmured slowly while her voice choked in between

"I'm sorry about that chia... But I have too" Shubman said and slowly pulls out the promise ring from her hand whereas Shriya just lightly bites her lip trying to hold back the tears

Shubman takes a deep breath as he took one last glance of Arshita from the corner of his eyes who just shakes her head in denial and then turned away not looking towards them

He looked back towards Shriya who just sighed whereas he finally slides the ring in her finger

All the guests and family members around them starts clapping .... Arshita just quietly walked away from their hiding her tears whereas Ishan was just standing in a side .... Numb to even react whereas Rishabh was standing just beside him
