The morning was as sunny as ever, as if calling you for a morning walk to refresh your thoughts. Giving in to this desire, you left H/N sleep in a while longer, taking a path up from Moorland all alone.

A mistake.

It was still early when the clouds gave of their rain to the grass and trees when the road became alive with more splashes than your eyes could appreciate. One spade into the mud showed how much water is there, running in to fill the hole. The rain fell down the blades of grass into the already wet soil, the droplets pausing on the surface before being sucked into the dark particles.

Yet together they brought such a soothing sound, a natural melody every bit as beautiful as a mother's soulful hum. You felt each splash that touched your skin, watched your clothes become a deeper, more rocky hue.

You didn't even have to dig to reach the water table. All you had to do is stand on the mud and water bubbles over your boots.

You thought of the closest place you could hide in while the rain washed over the land. Looking around, you saw a striped leather top of a circus, a wet flag sticking to its pole.

Nilmer's Highland. Maybe Ydris could take you under his roof, maybe he couldn't. You never knew what to expect from him.

But at this point, you had no choice other than to try.

You hurried to the place. By the time you reached it you weren't sure if there was more earth inside of your boots or coating your skin.

"Yd-" you yelped as you almost slipped on the mud, "Ydris!"

A head peeked out of the wagon, its forehead wrinkled.

"Little dove, is that you?!" He shouted through the rainfall.

Ydris quickly stepped out of the wagon, grabbing his coat from the holder, with an umbrella appearing from purple smoke coming out of his hand.

"Ydris, you're barefoot!" You motioned to his feet with your palm.

"Am I not allowed to walk barefoot?" He questioned as he got closer.

"Not in this situation!"

The ringmaster rolled his eyes, handing you the umbrella. He carefully put the coat over your shoulders and held your back as you both entered the wagon.

"What in the torment were you thinking?" Ydris asked as he closed the door behind you.

You caught a glance of yourself in the near mirror. Your hair was completely wet and tangled, and you sighed knowing this was going to be a pain to brush out.

"Going out in this cascade of water somehow falling from the sky..." Ydris mumbled as he hastened further in the wagon.

"In this what now?" You asked with laughter decorating your tone.

Ydris turned around and pointed his hand frustratingly outside the window, seemingly trying to find the right words.

"This uh, the water-"

"Do you not have rain in Pandoria?"

"No, we don't, whatever that is!" He continued running around the place, looking for things.
