"You can't leave it off there!" Says you

This is not apart of the book in the slightest

As the camera pans out, you can see two figures sitting atop a stage with a coffee table between the two. You recognize one, it's your favorite late night host, -insert name here-. The other is a static mess transitioning between the fifth and forth dimensions and black and green sparks radiating out of its mass.
  "Welcome back to my show, tonight, we will be interviewing the author here, on our special 'Lime Time' Special," The host said with a smile.
   "Did they pay you to say that?" A warped voice said, emanating from the moving force. The live audience suddenly caught silent by the creature.
   "Say what?" He asked, sitting back in his chair.
   "Lime Time, that is just painful to hear," It said, "I'm so sorry that you had to say that,"
  "Hehe, I actually came up with that," The host said, quickly drowned out by Lime's words.
  "So why am I here? I have to write a book," It said, transcending beyond human comprehension.
   "That's actually our subject for tonight," The host said, regaining his broad smile. "Where you left it off is criminal!"
   "So sue me," Lime said, suddenly fitting in the silhouette of a human, it was much easier on the eyes.
   "Oh, well okay, you'll be hearing from my lawyers!" The host laughed. Lime wouldn't partake in such illusions.
  "So our audience has some questions," The host said.
  "No they don't," Lime said, possibly standing up as the form of their mass quickly outgrew itself.
  "What?" The host squeaked
  This is obviously a figment of Lime's imagination, none of this actually happened or will happen. But this is an interlude! I wasn't able to post a chapter because of previous arrangements, but I will answer the questions NOBODY ASKED FOR!
First question: why does it take so long to publish more chapters?
I already have a rough draft of almost the entire book, but before I publish it, I go back in and rewrite it. I take out plot holes and questionable scenarios. Usually, this wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for all the random character arcs every other chapter. I think I will have to change the schedule I have again because I will have less free time in the future, but if I do, publishing will definitely be more on time.
Second question: why are you called Lime?
I would like to remain as anonymous as I possibly can, and limes are cool, nice color, good taste.
Third question: how did you get into writing?
National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo for short, is what got me into it. Originally it was just a sappy dragon love story,  but after a while I decided that romance is dead and I wanted to delve further into the minds of these dragons. Now it's this mental illness mess.
Fourth question: what is happening in this story?
Recently I have gotten feedback from a reader asking what was happening in some of the chapters. If your confused, so is main characters. I wanted this story to make you feel what the characters feel, so by adding more of what they're thinking and feeling I thought that it might do just that. With all five of them having such an odd backstory, you can pretty much take all of this confusion with a grain of salt as everything is seen differently.
Fifth question: are the designs for the dragons on chapter ten cannon?
No.
These are the cannon designs (that I surely won't change in a week). And yeah, Quake is almost twice as tall as the four other dragons. She is the same height as Avalanche when she tries to stand on her hands and legs, and Avalanche is the tallest out of the four short dragons.
