I looked at Bella while her blonde hair was starting to fall down her face, her bun coming undone from its weak hold.
"What?" I asked unfazed.
"Are you dead? Deaf? Blind? Wait no, crazy?" Bella said to me, looking at me like I just lost her dog.
I looked at her with a confused face, with my left eyebrow up.
She rolled her eyes and let out a sign.
"We're going to the Oscars in about freaking 4 hours and your here acting like it's just a normal day." Bella explained to me.
"And? I been there before." I said to her.
"But last time you wasn't one of the nominees, Rosalina Queen." She signed as started talking.
"Is there something up?"
And that's when I started to remember the phone call that I got earlier.
I found out that my grandma that is in the hospital because of a disease that she got. She's been in there for 2 years. It's an expensive hospital that told me that they could give her a special treatment for it but so far that treatment isn't working. So the disease is getting worse.
I been trying to think of anyone that I know that could help me but so far everybody I have already ask has told me to that hospital and she's there but no progress.
After my parents died in a car accident when I was 18, my grandma has taken care of me ever since.
Trust me, the Oscars this year is very exciting because this is my first time being a nominee for best actress. When I got the news I was over the moon.
I looked at Bella and I gave her a big smile.
"I'm a Oscar nominee." I said with a bit of happy tears forming.
"Yes! Yes! Yes! Now, that's the spirit, babe!" She said with tears forming too and with a big happy smile.
I didn't want to tell her what happened. She knows about my grandma but today she's happy and I should be too.
