As if struck by lightning, Iris had awoken with a sudden and powerful jolt that shook her entire body. She struggled to catch her breath as she frantically began to observe her environment and to her shock she had no recollection of what had happened and how she ended up where she was.

"Where am I?!" She shouted hoping for some distant voice to answer her call. "What is this place?!" Iris had shouted once again, waiting for someone, anyone to explain to her where she had been taken and why. Her grey hair was ruffled and messy from all of her movement, and her ocean blue eyes darted across every corner of the room she had found herself in.

Someone banged the door and quickly rushed over the female sitting on the bed.
"My daughter!" A man with the same ocean eyes like her sat beside her as he took her hand in his gazing at her. His sapphire-like eyes were soaked as if he would cry at any moment.

"What's the matter daughter?" The man questioned.
Just from hearing the man calling her daughter, Iris understood that he claimed to be her father, which wasn't hard for her to guess since he shared her appearance.

"Who... who are you?? I can't remember anything, I don't even remember who I am." Iris said sadly with tears of her own welling up in her eyes. She became professional in this acting as she mysteriously kept reincarnating in someone else's body after each time she died.

"Oh, goodness! How could that be?!" The man's face darkened as he stood up, letting go of the young lady's hand. "I-I don't know..." She sobbed.
"D-don't cry dear. I will see what I can do. I will get to the bottom of this and help you regain your memories." He wrapped his arms around her and comforted her to calm her down from her previous manic state and quickly began forming ideas in his mind as to what he should do about his daughter's predicament. He then came to the conclusion that the best way to help her would be to summon the best magicians he could find to examine her and see if any magic would help her.

*3 hours later*

The most notable magician Iris' father could find and summon had arrived at their mansion.

"I hear your daughter needs help, sir?" He politely asked.

"Yes, she has fallen victim to some form of illness that has robbed her of her memories and I searched for the best magician I could find to help her." His tone was filled with worry and fear but the confident magician reassured him that he would find out what mysterious affliction had befallen his daughter.

The magician then sat close to Iris and told her to stay still and that he would read her aura and examine her energy.

As the magician began to concentrate and focus on the girl in front of him, he was shocked to see that she had been overflowing with an overwhelming amount of magical energy that shouldn't have been possible for any normal person.

"This much magic power should be harmful to anyone that wields it within their soul that doesn't already have any proper training with it, yet this girl had somehow been perfectly fine physically aside from her missing memories! This is a miracle that she is still alive, Duke Alhwin!" The magician said in wonder to the duke as he could barely believe what he was witnessing.

"That can't be possible, she was never able to tolerate magic before, her body would always reject it! Ever since she was little, she had trouble with any type of contact with magic so she rarely went outside as this world is filled with magical things." The red haired man spoke, stunned.

This revelation from Alhwin had stunned the magician, as he now had another mystery on his hands as to how this girl who had previously been intolerant of magic could now suddenly be overflowing with it.

Iris sat on her bed, speechless, awaiting an explanation from the magician as did her father.

"I have a theory" the magician said, catching the attention of Iris and her father.
