TW: Implied Manipulation, Todou Being Pushy, Female Reader, Aged Up!

It was getting rather late. The sun had set hours ago, replaced with the darkness of the sky. It seemed like it was a good time to leave. You had to walk home anyway and it was best to do so before all the bars closed. Turning to Todou, you explained it was best if you left cause of the time. The two of you had been watching a few movies back to back, losing track of time. "Oh come one, it's not that late. Just stay for the rest of the movie. Please?" He always gave you those puppy dog eyes when he really wanted something. How could you say no? Agreeing you stayed for a bit longer. Hoping it wouldn't be too much longer.

The movie played on. You really enjoyed it. Todou always knew how to pick movies you'd both enjoy. He was truly one of your closes friends. You even use to have a small crush on him a few months ago, though that seemed to be crushed as he seemed to always be dating someone new every month. That didn't stop you from spending time with him. Even cuddling with him from time to time. Spending the night. It always seemed so normal to be like this with him. Almost acting like a couple without the extreme intimate parts and title. At times it was cruel for you, but he was too good of a friend to let go. Plus now you were starting to see someone, finally getting over him. It was still fresh, but they seemed so sweet and caring. Maybe they'd come to get you. It would work well, Todou could finally meet them.

"How'd you like the movie?" His voice broke you out of your thoughts. "It was good. Though I think the first was better." Todou laughed in response agreeing. Getting up, you were quickly tugged back down. Falling onto Todou. "Come on, one last one. You'll love this one." He didn't even listen to your reply before pressing play on the new film. "Todou. It's really late. I should-" He ended up cutting you off. "Just stay the night. It isn't safe for you to walk home. Plus it looks like it's gonna rain." Looking out the window, he was right. No stars insight, plus a few drops seemed to already be on the glass. "I would walk you home, but do you really wanna go when it's raining. Come one just stay." You didn't have work tomorrow or class. It wasn't like you hadn't stayed the night before, but now you were seeing someone. How would they feel? Spending the night at an old crushes place? "I don't think the person I'm seeing would enjoy that. They might see it wrong." His eyes suddenly stopped looking like they were filled with laughter. Instead, his nose scrunched and his eyes narrowed. But just as quickly as the change came, it left. His face went back to how it was before. "What's wrong. Two friends having a sleepover? If I were you I wouldn't wanna be with someone who takes everything the wrong way." Todou's words were stupid. He was being his normal annoying self. Trying to get his own way. He wanted you to stay longer, to continue hanging out. It was always like this, he just always had to get his way. "You don't know them. It's not like that. I just really like them okay." He didn't answer you. Nodding at your words as he slowly got up. He towered over you. If he wasn't such a close friend, he'd honestly be terrifying.

"How cute. Missy finally got a little boyfriend huh?" Todou was so close to you. Glaring down at you. Mocking your relationship. He always picked on your dating life. How you were always single and if you just got laid you'd loosen up. It wasn't your fault you both had different versions of having fun. At least you two had the same taste in movies.

Pushing past him, walk towards the front door to get your shoes on. Before you could grab for your shoes, Todou grabbed your wrist. Waiting for you to turn towards him before speaking. "What? Don't be so sensitive. Anyway, seems like a shit person to be bothered by a friend." He sounded like the last part hurt him. Did he truly think the new person you were seeing was trying to get in-between you two? Todou was so dumb and easy to annoy, he really had the nerve to call you sensitive? "That's not it. They probably wouldn't care about me spending the night at a friend's. It's just, just that well..." You were getting flustered. It didn't just cause you two were friends. He was so much more to you a few months ago and perhaps those feelings still lingered deep inside.

His stare just grew more intense as he continued to look into your eyes. "Well, finish it. I'm dying to hear." Todou had a smirk on his face as if he knew where this was going. The thought annoyed you if he did really know how you felt and still decided to rub all of his girlfriends in your face. "You knew..." It was no more than a whisper. The anger of that thought was coursing through you. Pulling out of his grasp, staying in the same spot as you stared up at him. Please say no, please say how he had no idea of what you were talking about. Or him giving off some stupid guess that was so wrong. Anything, but him knowing. Todou leaned down towards you. Pushing you back until your back was against the wall. Trapped between the two. "You had a little crush on me. Now that you're seeing some punk, you don't wanna risk anything or something?" He was right. He knew. Todou knew all of this time. You weren't sure what was worse, him knowing all this time, yet still leading you along. Or being so oblivious he never picked up on how you swooned over him when he talked. "How did you know?" A laugh erupted from his throat. "You aren't exactly the best actress." Shame and anger were fighting inside you. Should you blush and apologize, or should you freak out at him?

"Why didn't you say anything?" You finally looked up at him. Hurt was plastered on your face as you looked at him. "I just didn't want to, uh, ruin the friendship I guess." Todou seemed flustered. "But I also really like you so..." Your eyes snapped to his. Searching to see if there was any truth to his words. Did he just admit he also liked you? No, he never acted like it. Always with some new girl, flirting with anything in a pretty little skirt. Anything, but you. "Y-you're lying." You were hurt at this. This was worse than him not liking you. He was your friend, a friend you so deeply wanted more from a few months ago only to give up on it. But now that you moved on, he suddenly liked you? "Am I some joke to you?" Your words were cold, all emotion had left.

Todou was stunned at your words, you saw it in his face. Pure shocked that he wasn't able to recover as fast as usual. Suddenly he leaned in closer to you. Take your head into his hands. Keeping one hand resting on your cheek while moving the other under your chin. Ensuring you kept looking at him. You were boxed in by him. He would never hurt you, but he was so much bigger than you. It was hard to not feel intimidated by his size and actions.

"You're anything, but a joke to me. I love you." Those words were everything you wanted to hear. Everything you dreamed of, yet this wasn't the time. "Todou. I-I can't. I'm sort of seeing someone." Your words felt sour in your mouth. You had only gone on a few dates with the guy. It wasn't exclusive, but you knew if you kept dating him it would be. It could be nice, to have a relationship with someone who wasn't making you work for the attention. Someone who hadn't ignored you when they liked you.

His grip on your chin tightened. He crinkled his nose at your words. Like he was trying to understand them. "End it." You waited for a please, or for him to tell you he was joking. Yet, it never came, he just stared at you. You could. Send a text and end things. They probably wouldn't be hurt, you were sort of sure they were talking to someone else. Maybe they didn't like you like them. "That isn't right." "That's not a no." Before you could answer no, Todou interrupted you. "I know you don't want to say no or else you would have said it right away with no hesitation." Oh, god. He was right and it hurt. "Please. Just spend the night and we can talk. Please. If not because of all of this then because we're friends. And uh, friends don't let friends leave when it isn't safe." Todou was right. It was late and the rain had started to fall even harder now. It would be best if you stayed. Even give you a chance to talk to him. "I'll stay." His smile had spread across his face. He looked so ecstatic. Leaning in and planting a kiss on your forehead. Resting his forehead against yours after. It was all so soft and gentle. "Thank you. I love you." It was all so soft that you almost missed it. Almost missed the words that would pull you even further into him. Your feelings for him would never leave and it was only going to get worse after tonight.
