-Are you still here?

I was banging gently with the little strength I had left against the wall behind me.

-Yes...I'm still here.

A few seconds of silence passed, during which neither of us broke the silence.

-If anything happens to Emily, you can take it out on me...

I frowned before straightening up.

-I forbid you to say that Andrea... You wanted to reconcile everyone to avoid losing more people. I would never blame you for wanting to do that.

-Yes, but look at where we are today... it's all because of me...

-Shut up, will you! Rest, keep your strength up okay, do it for me.

--
A sliding sound woke me from my sleep and I opened my eyes slowly to the light that blinded me. The pain between my thighs was still there and I could still feel the pool of blood under my legs.

But suddenly someone crouched down beside me and I looked up at that person. Long dreadlocks fell over my shoulder.

-Michonne?!

She nodded her head and a few tears filled her eyes.

-Oh my God, what did he do to you...

I shook my head to keep the tears from flowing and pointed to the wall behind me.

-I'm fine but...Andrea...hurry.

She frowned and stood up before disappearing into the hallway. It was only then that I noticed a man standing in the doorway dressed in black, holding a crossbow. But he too disappeared into the next room.

I tried to get up, but my thighs hurt like hell. Then a tall, dark-skinned man put my arm over his shoulder.

-Wait I'll help you, I'm Tyreese.

-June...

He supported me against his side and took me in the next room. A vision of horror offered itself to me. Andrea sitting on the floor next to Michonne was bleeding. The man with the crossbow and another crouching in front of Andrea were also present. I understood then that she had lied to me, Milton had bitten her. I collapsed on the ground beside her and she passed her hand on my cheek.

-Don't cry, it's okay, I'm not gone yet...

I bit the inside of my cheek to keep myself from collapsing in front of her. I had to stay strong. She turned to Michonne.

-It's good that you ran into them, no one can make it on their own now.

This time she turned to the man with the crossbow.

-I never could...he said.

She turned this time to the second man.

-I just didn't want anyone to die...

She stood back up against the wall and addressed everyone this time.

-I'll do it myself.

-No...said Michonne.

I shook my head from side to side.

-Oh yes I will...while I still can...

Michonne burst into tears as she shook her head and Andrea turned to the man crouching before her.

-Please...I know how to take the safety off...

He nodded in turn and handed her his gun.

-I'm not going anywhere...Michonne said.
