“Bye Jake. Bye Sunoo.” Jungwon waved off, seeing his fellow math nerd friends walk away. Jungwon would go with them to the library and study but it was Friday, as in date night. He waited a bit outside the school, checking his phone every five minutes as he nervously watched around.

“Where is Jay?” Jungwon muttered, confused. School should be over, and Jay didn’t have practice tonight, hence why they were going on a date. The math nerd pouted a bit, annoyed at the jock’s tardiness. Soon annoyance turned into fear and doubt, his mind thinking and sharing thoughts he didn’t want to think.

What if he’s cheating on me?

Maybe he doesn’t like me anymore

He’s probably bored of me

Oh gosh this is his way of telling me we’re over

“Jungwon!” the nerd’s mind went quiet at the cry, looking behind and he saw a tall jock dashing to him, eyes full of adoration. Adoration for him.

Jungwon let out a sigh of relief and walked up to Jay, meeting in the middle. Jay pulls Jungwon into a hug, and the nerd could feel him breathing heavily on his neck while his chest heaves against his own.

“Sorry, my literary teacher kept me behind for no reason. I wanted to text you but she wouldn’t give me a moment.” Jay explained. Jungwon smiled, no longer caring for the reason and focused on Jay being there.

“It’s okay, I’m just glad you’re here.” Jungwon beamed, sharing a peck on Jay’s cheek. The jock chuckled, lightly blushing.

“Alright, let’s go, I’m sure I've kept you waiting long enough.” Jay takes Jungwon’s hand and pulls him along in a certain direction. Jungwon watched eagerly, curious to see what Jay had planned. The jock said a week ago that this date was going to be unique and a surprise. So Jungwon spent all week wondering and thinking what it could be.

Arcade, beach or hiking, those could be the only options, right? Jungwon reviewed, summarizing his theories into those three. He was hoping for an arcade because he didn’t pack swim trunks or proper hiking shoes.

“My cutest babe.” Jay says, leading Jungwon to his car. He opened the passenger seat for Jungwon, and greeted him with a handsome grin.

“My cutest jock.” Jungwon giggles, finding the little extra efforts charming and amusing. Jay was usually a hawk, flying on his own at least that what he thought before. But when Jungwon met the jock overtime, he discovered layers, like an onion, behind the jock. A cold exterior with a charming and clingy interior.

Jungwon entered the passenger seat, and waited for Jay to enter on the other side, starting the car. The couple soon left the school property and were off on their way, Jungwon reeling in suspense.

The math nerd soon realized Jay had driven them into the nearby national park, and he was suspecting that they were going to hike.

“Uh, if we’re going to hike, I don’t have hiking shoes, or clothes.” Jungwon warned lightly, scared he might ruin Jay’s date plans.

“Oh no, we’re not hiking, you’ll see.” Jay answered before going quiet with a smile on his face. Jungwon’s eyebrows knitted in a frown, confuzzled. He looked out, seeing vast amounts of trees and other naturistic vibes.

Jay kept on driving, silent out of fear that he might spoil the surprise. Jungwon noticed that the sky was getting dimmer, dropping from a bright effersvent blue to a shimmering Barbie palette sparkle.

“Oh it’s getting dark.” Jungwon commented, remembering he did have math homework to complete, plus some of Jay’s homework to help with as well. There was a reason that Jay needed tutoring but Jungwon failed at that by getting too distracted by the jock’s dick. And face. Also his personality, just generally everything about Jay.

“Alright we’re here.” Jay announced, pulling into a parking lot. Jungwoon saw the sign and he gasped, realizing where they were.

“Oh this is so romantic.” Jungwon exclaimed, ecstatic to go star-gazing with Jay.

“Yes baby, I know you know the stars, so you can show me where the stars are.” Jay says and then leans in to whisper into Jungwon’s ears. “And then I’ll show you stars.” Jay huskily whispers, showing a bottle of lube from the glove compartment. Jungwon’s face blushed as red as Rudolph's nose, his heart racing rapidly at the idea. He nods eagerly, excited for the night to come.

But life decided to fuck with them.

Both of their phones rang, vibrating loudly. They pulled it out, seeing it was their single parents.

“Mom?” Jungwon said, accepting the call.

“Daddy?” Jay said, accepting the call. Jungwon blinked a bit, surprised at that detail. He decided he’ll deal with it later.

A few minutes pass by, the two listening to their parents before they both hang up at the same time.

“I’m so sorry.” they said in unison. They both paused before Jungwon continued.

“My mom wants me to meet her at this specific Chipotle,” Jungwon says, pulling up the address for Jay to see. “She says it's urgent and that I have to go there right away, um can you drive me there?” Jungwon asks, squirming in guilt. He hated that he was ruining Jay’s plans and he was really excited for what was to come.

“Okay, that’s weird because my dad said the same thing.”

“Well, I guess we’re going to the same place, cool.” Jungwon hesitantly says, a weird gut feeling looming. Jay turned the ignition on and pulled out of the national park, Jungwon quietly pawing at the window glass in sadness.

The couple quietly listened to radio music, too lost in thought of whatever potential possibility could occur at the specific Chipotle location. The only thing that broke their silence was the radio, playing random top 50 pop music available.

Eventually the two arrived at the specific Chipotle location, seeing their parents stand together patiently at the front.

“Wait, they’re going to see us get out of your car and assume we’re together, what do we do?” Jungwon asks, shaking a bit as the last thing he needed was his mom trying to ruin his relationship.

“Just say you were tutoring me and we both realized we’re going to the same location so I gave you a ride.” Jay says. Jungwon nods, feeling at ease.

They both exited the car, giving a friendly wave to their parents.

“Oh perfect, tutoring, anyway.” Jungwon’s mom said, coming to the conclusion Jay planned to fake. The two tried to seem not couple-like, as in they stood two feet apart and didn’t give each other eye contact longer than two seconds.

“We have something important to announce.” Jay’s dad said. Jay and Jungwon made eye contact, confused in unison.

“We?” they both thought.

“We’re married! And we’re moving into Jay’s father's house!” Jungwon’s mom exclaimed. Reality felt as if it had shattered for the teen couple, shocked at the news.
