Leila woke up to shuffling upstairs. Looking up, she saw Cindy walk down, yawning and stretching out her tired limbs. Cindy looked at Leila and her eyes sparkled.

Flower walked behind her, glaring at Leila the entire way. She knew the Zorua had a problem with her, but she didn’t know what because she didn’t care.

Cindy smiled and sat down beside the shiny Umbreon, avoiding the Absol and other Umbreon. Flower jumped up by Cindy, then on the arm on the couch due to no room.

Moon and Dark yawned and looked at Cindy before moving over and getting comfortable and falling asleep again. Leila blinked and yawned at the early wake up call before looking around as she heard rustling in a different direction.

Natalie walked out of her room, stretching her arms over her head and yawning. Baron wasn’t at her side, but the older trainer walked into the kitchen and sent out her Pokemon to eat along with the family.

A Zoroark peeped out from the kitchen and asked, “Zoro?”

“I’ll have cereal, Violet, thank you.” Cindy replied.

“Zorua!” the fire and dark type Pokemon barked, jumping down and running to her mother.

“Ty!” a loud roar sounded from the kitchen, followed by a red flame.

Leila never heard that roar before, so she got up, stretched, and walked into the kitchen to see a Typhlosion there.

“Who in the world is that?” Leila yelled over the noise in the kitchen.

“Could say the same to you, Umbreon.” the fire type Pokemon growled, turning around to face her.

“I’m Leila, you volcano Pokemon.” Leila snapped.

“My name is Volcano.” he growled.

“Stop it you two.” Natalie growled from her corner of the kitchen, getting a cup of coffee. “Volcano, this is Leila, an old Pokemon that I let go who recently came back. Leila, this is Volcano, traded him when he was a Quilava for Quan. Of course, Quan and Volcano disapproved of it at first, but the trainer insisted.”

She shrugged and stirred her coffee with a spoon before taking a sip. She pointed at a grass snake Pokemon, “Omar evolved a few days after I last saw you in the Pokemon Center. Then Violet. Evolved a month before Cindy was born.”

Leila looked at a Deino. The shiny Umbreon scoffed, “Who’s the newer goof ball?”

“Her, Leila, was in my PC box, hoping to level them up some day. The Deino is Topaz and she is strong spirited, like you.”

“Nice to meet you.” the half-blind Pokemon growled.

“Mom! Is my cereal done yet?” Cindy asked.

“Would you be quiet!” Moon growled.

“What?”

“Ugh…”

“Not yet, Cindy! Sorry! Leila wanted to know everyone new!” Natalie called out.

Natalie got inside a cabinet and threw out a box of cereal which Volcano caught it skillfully while Violet grabbed a bowl from another cabinet. Omar opened the fridge with his tail and grabbed out the gallon of milk, half empty.

“A little more than half a bowl.” Natalie informed her Pokemon.

They each nodded while Omar set the milk down for Volcano to pour the liquid in, then closing the door to the refrigerator. Violet set the bowl down and grabbed the cereal, pouring it into the bowl, a little more than halfway. She moved away, looking out into the living room to see Cindy petting a sleeping Moon and Dark.
