Nimias' POV

It's been a few weeks now since I healed Morax. I'm not sure if it was effective or not since I have been out doing jobs and requests. Although, some of the requests had already been dealt with by someone else. I wonder who?

Today I am going to go meet Morax along with the infamous traveler that I had heard about from Baal. I'm a bit worried though because I can't get what happened at the inn with Morax out of my head. Anybody would say that he was acting a bit sensual, but this is Morax we're talking about. I'm pretty sure it wasn't intentional and was probably due to the healing effect. heck, he probably doesn't even know what it even meant.

Walking into the Liyue Harbour, I start looking for the tall dark-haired Archon. I finally see him near the docks accompanied by a blonde individual who is around the same height as Xiao... and a floating child???

"Zhongli!" I call out to him. 

He turns to me with a small smile grazing his lips.

"Ah, Taiyo. It is very good to see you. This is the Traveler and their companion, Paimon."

"Nice to meet you. As he said, I'm Taiyo! I hope we can get along" I give them a big smile.

Others' POV

Too bright...

Nimias' POV

"Hello, I'm Paimon! It's nice to meet you, Mr. Taiyo" The floating child says.

The traveler nods in agreement.

Then Morax intervenes and gets straight into business as always. "Enough of the pleasantries, I have brought you all here to discuss a notion that Taiyo had brought up a few weeks ago"

"Hm? Paimon wants you to elabour- elah- raet-"

"Elaborate." Morax seems serious. Then I shouldn't mess around either. "I'm assuming we're here to discuss the unknown God and the missing person" My face turns serious.

The traveler and Paimon give me a surprised expression before turning to Morax. 

"Before you say anything, I believe it would be wise if we continue this conversation in private" Morax says once again. 

We all nod in agreement and make our way to the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor.

+.* a few minutes later *.+

Once we arrived at a small office-like room that had a dark-wood desk in the center, the walls lined with bookshelves, I closed the door and turned towards the others.

"Where's Hu Tao?" Paimon asked.

"She has business elsewhere and will not be returning till tomorrow" Morax answered back immediately.

"Oh..."

This is awkward.

"I'd like to know how you know about the Unknown God" The traveler finally speaks.

"It is not I who had known of their existence. It was Taiyo who had brought up the premise of a new God among us"

They all turn towards me expectantly.

I sigh. "Hey, Morax, they know about you being a God right?"

He nods.

"Great! Then let me reintroduce myself! I'm Nimias, The God of Ambition. Nice to meetcha!"

"?!" They both give a look of shock.

"So you mean to tell Paimon that you're the Nimias?! As in one of the only known Gods outside of the Seven?!?! The one who uses none of the traditional elements?! The Pheonix???"

"Well, yeah, except I have the element of Sun. Also, please stop shouting"

"*sigh* Nimias, please get back on track"

"Right. I know of the Unknown God because I had sensed an abnormal presence and went to investigate it. The same goes for why I know how you, the traveler, had lost your sibling" 

"Wait, So you just stood there and watched us get attacked?! And if you were able to sense her then where were the Archons? A top of that, I thought you had a contract against telling us about my sibling so why are you here, Zhongli?!" The traveler sent a barrage of questions. I sweatdrop.

"No, no. Don't get me wrong. I sensed her presence but I never said I was there to witness when she appeared. I rushed as quickly as I could to get there, I promise, but by the time I was there, I saw your sibling get caught and the rest is history. I couldn't have possibly had enough time to attack and save either of you"

"But Paimon is still confused as to why the Archons weren't there, and why Mr. Zhongli is here"

"If I had to guess then the Seven were too busy with their Archon duties to sense it". At this point, I had gotten bored and was lazily floating in the air with a small pair of flaming wings on my back. "You'll have to ask Morax himself though. I'm not too bothered with Archon stuff". 

I heard Morax sigh and nod towards me to get out. I let out a small groan of protest and pouted a bit. Making my way out I saw Morax smile at my antics. I'm happy that I could at least make him feel better, he seemed rather tense back there. 

Now I was outside and had nothing to do. I'm sure that Morax would talk things out with the traveler and inform the other Archons of another God in our presence. Jeez, being part of The Seven is so troublesome. I might go and ask the Wangshu Inn for their kitchen to make some sweets. I'll make some almond tofu and bamboo shoot soup for Xiao and Zhongli as well.

...Why do I have a bad feeling about this Unknown God? There's something we're missing.

"Ack, I don't get it!"
