The Next Hero pt.2

Izuku stared forward at his opponent, sword at the ready. His face was set into a determined grimace, bruises covering his body. The knight(at least he assumed he was a knight) was ruthless in his training. He felt like one big bruise, and as soon as he was done for today,he'd go and melt into a nice warm bath and bed(How the temple had a fully functioning bathroom was beyond him,but he wasn't complaining). Izuku rushed forward, ready to begin another spar.

(Timseskip-I have no idea how to write good fight scenes)

Izuku laid on his bed in the temple, mulling over the information he'd figured out over his time there. He still didn't really believe what was happening. Good things didn't tend to happen to him and when they did, disproportionately bad things happened as well. He hoped against hope that he wouldn't wake up in his room back home and realize this was a dream. It had happened before and he wouldn't be surprised if it was happening now.

Izuku also found out he was a bit of a battle junky. Now that he could actually fight,he found himself enjoying himself way more then he should. Sometimes he got so into a spar he wouldn't stop until the knight smacked him over the head. Izuku was then forced through training to better control himself during a fight. He could do it about 80% of the time. The other 20% of the time he fought until he passed out and regretted it when he woke up. One time Izuku kept fighting even after he passed out. Izuku prepped himself for another scolding, but what he got instead was a pat on the back.

  (Timeskip-The next day)
When Izuku woke up,he felt an odd feeling wash over him. He didn't really know how to describe it,but it caused an odd sense of deja vu. As he walked out to the area he usually trained in,sword and shield in hand,he was surprised to see the knight(who he had recently started calling sensei) standing in the middle of the room, apparently not noticing Izuku. "Sensei, are you okay? I thought you were going to teach  me that spin attack you showed me." Sensei shuddered, realizing Izuku was there. He sighed and turned to face him.

"Izuku,I think it's time for you to leave." Izuku stood stock still, trembling as tears started to form in his eyes. Sensei seeing this decided to continue before Izuku burst into tears. "It is not anything you have done, nor is it any desire of mine for you to leave. It is simply what must occur." Izuku was confused. He didn't really want to leave Sensei alone down in the temple. Knowing Sensei though,if he said there was a reason for something, then there most certainly was a reason. Seeing Izuku stare at him,Sensei carried on.

"I have trained you well, and I feel you are ready. It is time for you to head back to the surface. You should go see your family once you do. I imagine you miss them very much." Izuku blinked slowly, before gasping. "Ah crap!! Mom must be worried sick! I'm gonna be grounded for life!!" Sensei chuckled and shook his head before speaking. "It is fine Midoriya. Time inside of the temple moves faster the time outside. While you've spent a week in here, outside it will have been a single day." Izuku calmed down some after hearing that, but he knew he would have to come up with a damn good excuse to avoid the worst of his moms punishment.

He turned to rush out of the temple, but was stopped when Sensei grabbed his shoulder. "Midoriya, before you go,take this." He pulled out a medallion from his armor and handed it to Izuku. It was a little worn, but Izuku could still make out the design. He gasped as he looked at it. It was the Hylian crest. He ran his fingers over the symbol, and a look of awe crossed over his face. Oddly enough when he stared at the Loftwing design, memories that weren't his ran through his head. He remembered flying on the giant red bird, and a familiar yet unrecognizable feeling washed over him.

He tuned back in when he heard Sensei continue speaking. "When you leave the temple, find the chimera. Show him that and he will point you in the right direction." Izuku nods his head before gasping in surprise as he was wrapped in a hug. "I'm proud of you,Midoriya. I hope you know that." After Sensei ends his sentence, he let's Izuku go and starts walking back to the temple. Izuku shakily smiles tears threatening to fall. He wipes his eyes and grins, waving at Sensei. He straps his sword and shield to his back, shifts the armor he'd been given during his first day of training, and runs back to the ladder.

"May the Goddess grant you strength, young Hero."

As Izuku climbs back out of the hole,he closes his eyes as the sun shines bright overhead. He sighs as he squeezes the crest in his right hand. "I won't let you down sensei." It is only the Izuku realizes that he has no idea who the chimera is,and that he needs to find a way to explain everything to his mom. He winces as he starts walking through the forest, heading towards the exit. As he walks,he tries to figure out who or what the chimera is. Izuku is getting close to the exit when he sees something in his peripheral vision.

He stops and turns towards it,hand ready to grab his sword. What he sees shocks him. He blinks as he looks at the floating person. They are tall, taller then he is,and they glow the same blue Sensei does. They are lacking the blue flames however. Their skin is a dark blue, their hair is a dark shade of blue,so dark it is easy to mistake it for black, and their eyes are grey. They wear a grey shirt and pants, and a sword strapped to their hip. When Izuku approaches he clears his throat to alert them of his presence. He keeps his hand ready to grab his sword at a moments notice, and stops as the person turns towards him.

  "You can...see me?"
