Chapter 5 Assault on Earth

Jen recalled me back into my Pokeball while her ODST team got onto the pelican and took off.

Jen was on the pelican readying up her battle rifle while was giving orders to the group, ok ladies are mission is to board that covenant ship and find the prophet of Regret are you guys ready, Cynthia yelled! Yes!!! everyone replied, then suddenly the pelican's left wing got hit by something and set the wing on fire.

(One thing to say, the ODSTs in the video represent what happened to the squad)

Shit everyone hold one, one of the pilots yelled out, everyone in the back of the pelican held on as the pelican started to go down. The pelican crashed landed on the side of a beach near buildings, the crash killed both of the pilots and killed two of the ODST soldiers in the back while Jen, Cynthia, and a two others got knocked out because of the impact.

While they were unconscious, a couple of elites found the crash site and went to go retrieve something, they found the unconscious soldiers and one went over to Jen's unconscious body and checked her body and found her Pokeball which was what they came for.

Second squad what's your position, Cortana said over the radio, Cynthia finally woke up yes Mam we're here at the crashed pelican are pilots didn't make it, Cynthia replied . Just then Jen woke up along with everyone else, um,,, guys where's my Pokeball she asked worried, everyone started to check around the crash site but didn't find it anywhere, Jen don't worry we'll find it Cynthia reassured her.

Just then they started to get out of the pelican they got attacked by a covenant patrol.

The last elite then got shot with an overcharged plasma bolt which made his go down and Jen immediately shot him in the head, making the elite fall to the floor lifeless.

(My POV)

I just started to feel myself get materialized out of my Pokeball, I thought Jen wanted me to come out but when I did I instead saw a bunch of elites standing in front of me. I immediately tired to use my earthquake attack but one of them pinned me down and I struggled under his massive arms that is when he put something around my tail and when I tired to use earthquake nothing happened at all. I tired to use it again but nothing happened, when I realized this I started to back up scared.

I tired to fly away but they also put something on both of my wings which didn't made my wings flap this made me even more worried. Vibrava!! One of the elites then picked me up and put me in a cage of some sorts including my Pokeball and then closed it.

They then loaded me onto a shadow transport variant with a bunch of other things and started to go into the New Mombasa highway tunnels.

Meanwhile, Chief was driving warthog with another following close behind, Chief we have a covenant convoy up ahead of are location and they have a prison Cortana said, Chief nodded in confirmation and drove the warthog off to the convoy.

Where are they talking me I asked myself, I looked through the glass on my cage and saw that we were going through a tunnel. I was trying think of a plan just going around the small cage trying to think of something, but then I heard gun shots coming from outside of my cage and I think someone was here to rescue me which I got a happy feeling about.

Chief finally caught up with the convoy which consisted of three shadows carrying ghosts and escorted by two spectres with elites on them, but the spectres were easily taking care of by the second warthog which was a gauss warthog. Now all that was left was three shadows, Chief pulled up to the first one and the marine in the passenger seat tipped over the first shadow by firing a rocket at it.

The second shadow was destroyed the gauss warthog by aiming a shot right at the driver, but the last was a a lot more difficult because the last one had destroyed the gauss hog when it was trying to come up to it and also killing the marines on it in the process.

I was watching the warthog Chief was driving dodge shots from the shadow's turret, but Chief was a skilled driver so he told the marine next to him to fire at the turret which at his call and then Chief pulled up on the right of the shadow, then told the marine to fire now and the rocket was a direct hit.

(Back to my POV)

I felt the weight of my cage suddenly turn over sideways as the shadow tipped on it's front and I screamed in panic VIB!!! Chief saw the cage go flying with a bunch of other equipment but his main target was the cage he got on the front of the warthog, before he told the marine next to him to drive the warthog which he did. He then jumped off the front of the warthog and caught my cage in midair, I was shaking inside because I was scared of what I just happened.

Chief then opened up the cage and pulled me out of it with my ball and started to comfort me by petting my head which made me relax and made me stop shaking in the process, he then returned me back to my Pokeball and asked Cortana who this ball belonged to in which she responded, Jen Romero part of the ODST squad Red Skulls Cortana said.

Chief put the ball onto his belt and got back into the warthog then drove off until he reached the end of the tunnel and Cortana contacted the ODST squad to meet them their by pelican.
