A few years after the events of Halo 2, Jen and her Partner Red the Flygon eventually became enveloped in the Spartan Program. Jen became a Spartan mark IV Mjolnir power armor, while Red was the first ever Pokémon to be tested on with the serums used during the a Spartan's birth and he came out stronger and smarter. The thing is that he lost his Red eye goggles during the experiment and without them he couldn't see, but thanks to the Spartan armor on him he got a transplant Visr over his eyes that are supposed to protect his eyes from sand and help him see targets.
Such as he had the knowledge to use weapons both UNSC and Covenant weapons the weapon that he favors the most is the M45 Shotgun.

It's the shotgun used during reach but it's also due that he also uses Halo reach armor that also has a Spartan ability unique to him, that being he has a sort of Turbo ability in which when activated allows him to fly much faster and also boosts his Pokémon moves such as Giga Drain, Dragon claw, Earthquake, and Thunder punch.
After he was the first successful Pokémon to undergo the Spartan experiments, few other Pokémon followed the soon after him, the second Spartan Pokémon to come over is this Typholsion named Ignis with different kind of reach armor on him he also came out different after the experiment noticeable in the flames over him.
Now he can control the flames to put it over weapons but it's most effective if used on weapons such as the Gravity hammer and energy sword but he favors the Gravity hammer more because it's a hammer which looks like this

Which is a special made hammer called Tartarus's Gavel so Ignis could basically make it a flaming hammer.
