Chapter 1: Death and Reincarnation
Hello there, my name is Jarvis Zerkin,
an ordinary guy who likes to watch Anime and read manga such as Fate Grand Order, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Instant Death, A wild last boss appeared, etc.
My life isn't all that bad since it could have been much worse like what had happened to the more misfortunate people.
I love to cook and work at a Five Star Restaurant named Pentra, I am the head cook due to my excellent cooking proficiency.
I had to learn how to cook at a young age due to my mother's passing and my father's busy schedule, leaving me the responsibility of taking care of my baby sister which was not easy, I can tell you that.
My father couldn't cook nor could my sister since she was too young at that point, so I learned to cook so my father and sister don't have to worry about starving not that they needed it since we were wealthy and could just hire maids.
As time passed my father finally managed to find a schedule to which he can visit us and take care of us, but, my father began to spoil my little sister making her entitled and bratty, this of course led to frequent arguments between me and my father.
This kept on happening until my former father kicked me out and he left me to rot in the alleyways, I fended for myself for at least a couple of months before stumbling to a kind old who gave me a new home and name.
from that day on I abandoned my previous name and went by the name Jarvis Zerkin, the old man owned a restaurant along with his late wife who unfortunately passed away from cancer, so did my old man after taking care of me for 3 years.
As I was reminiscing I didn't notice a guy pointing a gun behind my head before pulling the trigger as he killed me.
My face planted onto the searing pan burning my dead body's face in the process.

'Where am I?' Jarvis thought
Everything is pitch black here, I can't tell where's front to back or left to right, I can't feel my body nor can I move them, I can't smell, hear, taste or even feel anything.
The only thing working with my body is eyesight but I don't know if I can see or not since there's nothing here at all.
Am I dead? If that's the case then, is this heaven or hell I can't tell, maybe limbo perhaps?

An unknown soul has been wandering the void for an unknown amount of time on the verge of mental collapse, he feels as though he has been lost in this empty space for an eternity, with no hope of returning, his thoughts racing and hearing pounding faster and faster.
Or is that just his imagination who knows all he understands is that he is slipping further and further away from sanity?
Am I losing my sanity or is that just my Imagination? Who knows, now that I think about it why do I keep saying who knows? Eh, maybe I'll learn it in the future but for now, who knows really?
Before I could fully give in and let my sanity slip away, a bright light shined that revealed a beautiful woman who seemed to be around her mid-twenties while releasing a comforting aura that seemed to have affected the soul who looked stunned at the beauty of the Goddess perhaps?
