-:The Painful Incarnation:-

Sometimes you must ignore in order to know,

Because words will enter in one ear and disfigure others.

Perhaps this way the world will finally awake,

And understand each other completely.

Hold each other's hands and live in harmony.

But life is not so simple.

Not so sane.

-:-

War is like a flower.

Each petal that falls is a dear life.

They descend in pure grace.

Bit by bit, until there is nothing left,

But the causing strife.

The dust rises on a pool of flames,

Grazing the azure sky like a blossom to wind.

War is like a flower,

And you are going to hold it in your hands, to win.

-:-

How do they fall? How do they fall?

Look at them, those petals,

Gliding fairer than fair,

Whistling a melody least atrocious to bear,

Skimming the bark like a hand strokes hair.

-:-

But sometimes you must fall in order to grow,

Scrap your knees to learn better than before.

However, arising is key to fully flourishing.

The greatest minds, by definition, insane.

To try and try, then expect differing results.

Maybe you, Naruto, are insane, too.

-:-

Yet nothing like peace will come to be true.

Jiraiya was a foolish man,

To think it one day this cursèd world shall brew

A place of content.

A place only believed by whom it had all began.

-:-

Sometimes you must lose in order to gain.

Be it love, hope, dreams, or time.

Do not forget this passage, let it not wither away in sin.

Treasure it for its message, and not for its rhyme,

And perhaps, we might finally enjoy a real Zen.

-:-

The mountain in yonder distance crumbles into its end.

Be swift, Naruto, like a racing stream.

And then perhaps, it might've been you who crumbled that mountain in.

A raging forest with a tranquil lean,

Young one, do not be blinded by this world's cry of peace.

It mewls for the spoils of war, cleverly discreet,

Forsaking the basic rule of sowing what is reaped.

-:-

He almost fooled me,

That old wretched wench.

Woman he is not, to be marred with such speech.

Yet that is the only title to befit him, only one to quench

This fierce thirst of unscrupulous dissent.

-:-

Sometimes we must ignore in order to know,

Fall in order to grow,

Lose in order to gain,

Because, dear world,

Life's biggest lessons are learned through pain.
