(Still in the shower) Mateo's POV:

As we finally finished showering i get out while grabbing a towel. I walk into her room closing the door as she walks out right behind me.

As she starts picking out what to wear I say "wear that black shirt with the jacket and some jeans" she smirks while picking out the things I said to.

I wear the same cloths from yesterday since i didn't have extra and she sits on the bed. I can feel her eyes looking me up and down "I know your looking" I say and I turn around to see her blush as she looks away.

I'm pretty sure I like her. "No it's fine you can look I don't mind. As long as you give me a show after" I say sarcastically "but I'm already dressed" I look back at her and see that she was already dressed as she said so innocent yet so adorable "okay next time than" as I start humming going in the bathroom.

As we both finish getting ready I look at her in the outfit of choice (The one I picked out) she looks beautiful almost astonishing i could say. As me and Kiera walk down stairs and past her mom Mrs. Cortez says "did you have fun studying last......" she couldn't finish her sentence as i walked past her.

"Kiera you know how I feel about you with boys" Mrs Cortez says. "I Know mom and I promise we didn't do anything. He just slept over that's it" "okay good love you bye" "love you to mom" Kiera mumbles.

Walking out the door I say "I know mom and I promise WE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING" in the most girly voice I can mimicking Kiera "I'm gonna kill you. Shut up" she reply's back I chuckle as she giggles And we both walk to school.

I should say something right it's getting kinda awkward. "So has your mom always been like that with you and boys or..." I say just making small talk "I mean yea ever since I was like 13 she's just protecting me tho" "that's what you say" I answer trying to get another laugh out of her. She giggles as we keep walking.

We're finally ALMOST there as I say "is this how long it takes to walk every morning cause if so I'm never staying over again" "well first of all you are not staying over again so you won't have to worry about that. Second your just slow that's why it's taking so long" she says as she makes a devilish smirk at me.
"I'm not slow. And what if I said I did want to sleep over again" I say waiting for an answer "you are slow. And I would say no if you wanted to sleep over again" Kiera finally replied "why tho it was so fun. You can't even lie you know it was" I say "it was but it doesn't mean it can happen again" Kiera said in an annoyed toned voice. "Your just a mommas girl" I say with a grin on my face "nope I'm just trying not to be dumb"she says as we arrive at school. " ok fine we'll talk about this later bye" I say with a quick peck on her lips as I leave I could see her eyes widen. "Bye" she quickly responded. SHIT I DID IT AGAIN well I can't explain this one. Not this time.

Walking into first period everyone's looking at me. I know why but the rumor spread that fast damn. I also know Kiera is probably screaming in her head right now since she is was blushing.I sit down as class begins Dante whispered "so are you with her now" I say not wanting to sound stupid "nah we're just friends" than what was the kiss everyone's talking about it and I saw it this time" Dante answers "we didn't actually kiss our faces just got really close as we both said goodbye. Nothing happened so drop it okay" he says "okay" back as we start the lesson I could feel Kiera's eyes on me and I knew it wasn't in a good way. I get it I would be mad to but I feel like Dante would judge me if I were to actually get with her. I really do like her tho. I know she heard everything I said and I don't know what will happen but I'm hoping she's not to mad.

(Still First period) Kiera,s POV:

I'm fuming i can't make the words out to tell you how furious I am right now.I know he can feel my eyes on him but I'm sick of it staying in that class room made me wanna punch him and knowing me I might have. If I stayed any longer so "Mrs. Lacer can I go to the bathroom" I say she said "yes but make it quick" I wasn't gonna make it quick I just started roaming the halls as I hear foot steps from behind me. I thought it was a teacher so I hide in the nearest closet. Eventually Mateo found me yep it was Mateo.

I was mad to but just wait. As he opened the closet I covered my mouth trying not to make a sound when I saw his face I let out a big sigh since I had held my breath the whole time.

HOLY SHIT I almost died. "I thought you were a teacher you scared me half to death" I say " I'm sorry I just wanted to explain since I know you heard me talking to Dante.

" Mateo You don't need to explain I already know what you said and you can't change that" "I know but I just feel like if I tell Dante that I meant to kiss you he would judge me" he answered "if you really wanted me you wouldn't care what anyone else thinks but of course you chose popularly over me I understand okay so just leave me alone" I say "no I j- just" I cut him off by saying "it doesn't matter I don't want to talk about it anymore. Oh and I can't tutor you tomorrow cause I'm have a date"

I didn't have a date at all I was just showing that i didn't need him even tho I really wanted him. "Oh really with who than" Mateo said surprised. As I'm about to start explaining (since I never had a date) I hear more foot steps I thought that this was the time we were actually gonna get caught.

But no. It was Mateo's enemy/ex best friend "Diego Gonzalez" best friend in the 6th grade worst enemy in the eleventh grade kinda questionable. Anyways he came the same way as Mateo came but he was in a different class. "I'm her date" Diego shouted out.

Mateo's face was so shocked I almost laughed but as Diego said the word date his face changed from shocked to furious. I think I could almost see steam coming off of him. As Diego gets closer to me Mateo looks like he's about to throw a punch.

"Ring ring" damn it it was just getting good. Diego puts his arm around my waist as we walked into an empty class room "what the hell was that. And why where you out there." I say "well I was out there to go to the bath room when I heard you having some trouble so that's why I helped"

I was shocked but I kept it together "I know this is kinda weird but what if we actually go on a date it could be fun if we make it fun" wait did I hear him clearly the "Diego Gonzalez" wanted to go on a real date WITH ME. I mean he wasn't as cute as Mateo but Ill take it hell yea I wanna go on a date. "Okay but if we did where would you take me out to" I say actually wondering where he would take me "probably to the movies if you give me your number we can set up a time" bet "okay give me your phone" I say as I feel a grin crawl up and on to my lips.

As I'm about to leave I say "okay see you on there bye" and I hear him say "bye as I'm walking out of the room.well that was fun but I have to remember this "date" is strictly to get over Mateo nothing else. Maybe or maybe not!!!!!
