Kiera's POV: (Time jump 2 weeks later)

As I'm Roaming the halls I see Mateo of course I give him the dirtiest look I can and start walking to class. As I walk in I see the teacher waiting for someone no one was in the class room tho "Kiera stay after class so I can talk to you about something" Mrs. lacer says I mumble "ok" and sit down. The bell is about to ring when Mateo gets there seconds before "Mateo you'll see me after class along with Kiera"

WHAT THE FUCK why am i seeing Mateo? What does he have to do with me? Am I in trouble!!  The bell rings and Mateo sits down with a big smirk on his face. Shit I need a pencil again raising my hand I say "Mrs lacer can I have a pencil" "yes but hurry" as I got up I looked back at Mateo he had the same smirk. That smirk I hate it so much. I get a pencil "thank you" I say and sit back down. I look over at Mateo again and he's always having trouble with the work but especially today he got so frustrated. He got up and walked out I went after him "hey are you okay you are always having trouble with work" "I'm fine just leave me alone" he definitely was not fine "no your not fine" I go in for a hug and he hugged me back it was the warmest and softest hug I've ever had and it lasted so long. I was surprised but he didn't want to let go. Wait is my CRUSH hugging me what the hell. Actually he's not my crush anymore but still. I'm pretty sure I was blushing when he let go "are you okay you look really red" yea I definitely was blushing "yea I'm fine are you" "a lot better now" I chuckle and we both walk back to class. When we get back to class we both sat down "ring ring" the bell rang right as we got back as everyone left we stayed after to see what Mrs. lacer was gonna tell us.

"so Mateo why did you leave class" "oh yea sorry about that I got really frustrated with the work" Mateo replied "ok so what was it that you had to tell us" I say "so since Mateo is the new student at this school he's doesn't really know how things work. His grades have been dropping really badly lately so he needs a tutor. Your average in this class is the best out of every class I have so your basically the only option." Mrs lacer responds "yea no way I'm not doing that" I start walking out when Mateo says "please I need it and if I don't I'll fail this semester" hell no I know what's gonna happen if I do this. "nope I'm not doing it find someone else" "I can't you heard what she said your the only option" Mateo says  " I don't have time for this I have to get to class" "I don't want to fail and I'll pay you" ok maybe I can but I don't want to "I don't know I still have to focus on my work to" "come on we can do it together it'll be fun" ok I'm just gonna do it "ok fine my place tonight" "wait I don't know we're you live"he says "ok fine give me your number I'll text you the address" as he wrote down his number I could feel the knot in my stomach again am I getting butterflies again SHITTT okay no I'm fine. I took a deep breath "ok meet you at my place" "yea" he had the same smirk again. But this time it was more soft and sensitive almost like a thank you smirk. I nodded and went to my next class.

After school
Mateo's POV:

After school I was actually excited to go to her house I don't have a reason I just had a good feeling. When I got home I immediately got dressed in some sweat pants, a new hoodie, and more comfortable shoes. Checking my phone to see that the random number texted again "my address is ****" WAIT was the random number Kiera? Did she not notice I was the other random number? Out of all the random numbers It had to be Kiera's!!!!! Ok I'm just gonna tell her when I get there it's gonna be fine. I ask my dad if he can drive me "dad can you drive me to my tutors house" I say "yea as long as I meet his parents" um it's a girl but ok " dad my tutor is a girl but you can meet her parents if you want" "ok I'll be ready in like 5 minutes" my dad says I go in the kitchen to get a snack as I start eating I text the random number back "ok be there in 10" how long is he gonna take I want to go to her house already..... "I'm ready get the keys and start the car I'll be down in a minute" I hear my dad shout. YESS FINALLY how am I gonna tell her tho? Maybe I'll just wait it depends. As i get to her house I text "ok I'm here" she texts back kinda fast "ok I'll be out in a minute" I see someone open the door. It's "HER" I ignore when my dad said he wanted to meet her parents cause she was gonna be tutoring me for a while he could meet her parents any other time. Coming out side I say "hey you ready" she said "yea are you" I said "yea let's get started" I walk inside waving goodbye to my dad as he does the same. "Mom this is Mateo I'm gonna be tutoring him for the next few months Mateo this is my mom" Kiera says. Her mom says "hi Mateo" I reply "hi" back "ok mom we're gonna go upstairs and start" she says "ok have fun" "thanks mom" Kiera responded. As we get to her room I say "oh I like your room so we're doing it in here?" "Oh thanks and yea we're gonna start in here" She says "ok" I say back and I get out my books I start thinking about the random number but it slowly slips my mind when we start studying for the exams coming up. "wait so do you really have the best grade in the class" I say "I guess I never check but I'm pretty good with math and haven't failed any tests this year so yeah" "oh that's good obviously I'm not doing good cause I'm here right now" I chuckle and we keep studying.

2 Hours later Kiera's POV:

We finish studying and he really didn't know anything but it wasn't that bad I thought it would be worst but it actually went pretty good. When we were done I said "alright I think we're done for tonight"  "aww it was actually starting to get fun" Mateo said pouting "well if your insisting that you had fun than good I'm happy you had fun" "wait so you didn't" "dealing with you for 3 hours no of course I didn't" he put a smirk on his face the second I said that "so you gonna text your dad it's getting late" I said "yeah" as he texted his dad I texted him "so same place same time tomorrow?" He looked shocked and replied "yeah sure" I didn't even know why I did that but it was kinda funny so I started giggling than laughing and he did the same after we were done laughing he checked his phone again "my dad said he'll be her in 2 minutes" Mateo said "ok" I say with a big sigh "you okay" he says "yeah just mad I have to do this all again tomorrow" we started laughing again until we heard "beep beep" it was his dad "alright I got to go" He said "ok" I say and he kissed me on the forehead I didn't notice it till he left he says "bye" and I do the same. I can hear him walking down stairs saying "bye see you tomorrow" to my mom as she said "bye"back. HOLY FUCK DID HE JUST KISS ME. I HAVE TO TELL LIA. I'll tell her tomorrow tho I'm really tired. But oh my god he just kissed me. I blushed right after and was red for like 30 minutes. I finally got dressed into a random crop top and some leggings and hopped into bed as I turn on my music I think about him. I wish i could sleep with him so we could cuddle. I kept it in my thoughts as I slowly fall asleep.
