Through the screen (Bokuto x Reader insert)

Today is a new day! I woke up at 5am- haa!! Just kidding, I actually slept at 4am and woke up at 9am giving me time to take a bath and change to have some breakfast with the boys

"Good morning Hitoka" Akaashi greeted "Good morning Akaashi, you can- *yawn* you can call me Y/n" he nodded then left, I go to the table where it had made breakfast and start to put my food on my plate

"Akaashi where are yo- Oh hey Y/n!!" I looked at the door were Bokuto was standing and waved "Hello Bokuto, Akaashi just left a second ago" he went towards you and saw that you were about to have some breakfast "Want me to join you?" I nodded "That would be so sweet of you" I said as I headed to a nearby table to sit down

"You know what Bokuto?" He shook his head 'no' "I'm going to take a break from volleyball when I get out of high school.." he looked like he was about to faint "Wha- why?! You're an amazing player and you could get a millions of scholarships to any school you want!!" I smiled at him "I know... but what if I could do something other than play volleyball?" He puts his hand on his chin "Like what?"

"What if I could be a fisical trainer, or a volleyball coach, or maybe-"

"Or maybe a world star player" Bokuto side eyed me making me laugh "Or maybe a world star player..." I smiled as I looked at my empty plate "Hey- Bokuto!!" He laughed "I'm sorry!!" He ran towards the exit

"Y/n let's play again!!" Hinata jumped as Bokuto nodded in agreement "Actually I'm gonna sit this set off because it's Tsukishima's time to learn a thing or two from Kuroo" Tsukishima huffed and looked away

"I'll watch you guys from here" I felt someone hug me from behind "But I like playing with you" it was a very sad Bokuto with his hair deflated. I patted his head "If you win the set I'll set or block for you~" I sang to him "LET'S GO WIN THIS HINATA!" They both laughed as they went to make the teams

"Bokuto-san!!" Akaashi yelled making Bokuto alert for his next play. He jumped with the ball right above him, letting the flow of the game take over him he spikes the ball at the right side of the court where nobody was

"YESS, HEY HEY HEYYY!!!" He cheered while stretching his arms out. I applaud them "Amazing form Bokuto!!" I cheered for him "T-thank you!!" He puts his hands on his waist and nods at my approval "Another one!!" He yelled as he recovered

It was Hinatas turn to serve, he served making Kuroo recive it, passing it to Tsukishima who spiked the ball hitting Bokuto on the chest passing it to Akaashi "Pass it to me!!" Yelled Hinata, Akaashi tossed it to him 'Is Hinata going to manage?' Just when Hinata was about to hit it the ball but it didn't meet with his hand 'Oh shit-' unexpectedly Hinata lifted his left hand and passed it to the other side of the court (Like on the anime ofc) "Did you see that Yaku?!?!" I jumped as high as I could "The shrimp always got a new trick up his sleeve huh-" Yaku was amazed as the others kept playing

"1,2,3!" Kuroo and Tsukki jumped at the same time as they blocked Bokutos spike "Uuggghhh,Nooo!!!" Bokuto grabbed his hair and groaned "It's okay Bokuto-san we'll get the next one!!" Hinata cheered "Are you sure? I'm kind of a mess right now"
He sweatdropped a bit but Hinata just nodded 'How pure is this child' I wiped the imaginary tear of my eye "Last point guys!!" Kuroo exclaimed as they all nodded

Tsukishima served and Hinata.. uhh sorta received passing it to Akaashi "Akaashiiii!!" That yell... it gives me the chills "Bokuto-san!" They way Akaashi sets the ball perfectly to Bokuto making him spike it with such strength was just a view, but the greatest view of all is when his shirt lifte- 'Why am I thinking like this?!' I felt my face hot "Y/n are you okay? You look red" Yaku asked worried "Y-yeah I'm o-okay I'm just *cough* I'm okay" I went towards the guys and congratulated them "Thank you Y/n!!" Hinata exclaimed "What if I show you some tips about blocking?" I said making his eyes glow like stars "Would you!?" I nodded "Y/n-senpai you're so cool!!!" I laughed "No need for the senpai thing, I don't like formalities"

"HEY CAN I JOIN?!" Bokuto yelled from the other side of the court "SURE!!" I yelled matching his energy 'How did he even hear- Hinata was obviously yelling' I sweatdropped while chuckling a little

"Okay Hinata just observe!" He nodded and I signaled Bokuto so he could play

He throwed the ball towards Akaashi making him toss it towards Bokuto, I waited for the right moment 'Aaaaand.... NOW!' I jumped straight up blocking Bokutos beautiful spike

"Amazing!!!!" Hinata yelled "Aaaaahhhhhhh that would've been an amazing spike!!!" Bokuto yelled "It was part of the plan for me to block you-" I said as I sweatdropped "Oh right..." he looked away while scratching the back of his head "Bokuto-san, come here" Akaashi called him "I'm gonna tell him a few other tips till you come back, k?" I asked Akaashi as he nodded

Akaashis Pov

"What is it Akaashi?" Bokuto asked "Are you okay?" I asked "Of course I'm okay, what do you mean?" He scratched his cheek "You're not acting like yourself"

"I- I don't know what you're talking about" he looked towards Y/n "Is it Hito- uhh Y/n? Are you uncomfortable with her?" I was genuinely worried "Nonononono, it's not that!" He screamed making everyone look our way "Opps sorry-" I sighed "If you need to talk to me, you can actually do it Bokuto-san" he nodded "I know I can Akaashi, I'm fine it's just that I wanted to umm... show off in front of a player who's in a different league than I am and maybe she'll think of me as an equal..." He looked down putting his hands behind his back 'I see what's going on here' I smiled to myself

"Uhh guys I need to go, the girls are calling me that the coach is patrolling the rooms" Y/n said making us turn to her "It's okay Y/n, rest well" I said and she nodded "Aww" Bokuto frowned and unfortunately got depressed "Bokuto-san are you sure it was for those reasons?" He nodded "Yes, what else would it be for?" He asked 'Is he actually clueless?' I deadpan and looked at Yaku as he signaled me to go towards him

"Are you thinking the same?" He said as I nodded "They're both dense" We both said at the same time 'Oh boy...'
