"I'm on a highway to hell. Highway to hell." Sarah hum to herself making her way to the back of the junk yard.
She smiled when she saw the boys rolling up there sleeves ready to work. Sam was in a old plaid shirt while Dean was in a muscle shirt. Also making the mistake of showing off the mark that Cas left after raising him from perdition, which she noticed right away.
Sarah marched herself over to him taking his arm.
"What the-" realization hit her hard. She thought about the Angel. Then she remembers going to check up on the boys. They were talking about saving Dean from something. From....
"Dean Winchester I should slap you! You went to fucking hell?!"
Dean shook her off and rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly
"For good cause."
Sarah looked at Sam who seemed a little nervous.
"I leave you two alone and look what happens. You get yourselves killed. Then cheat death." She chuckled "That's my boys."
They both smiled. "So what's the damage?"
Sarah took off her leather jacket exposing her black tank top
"Let's just say wendigos a bitch."
They rounded a corner and when the boys eyes landed on the mustang they knew what she meant.
The roof of the mustang was caved in. There was large scratch marks all over the sides. Dents everywhere. And if they looked under the hood it wasn't much better under there ether.
"Damn." Breathed Dean
"Yeah. We better get to it." Said Sarah. She popped open her trunk and propped it up with a rifle. In the trunk was a whole bunk of weapons and holy water and crosses and traps. Stuff that you wouldn't think a 38 year old women would have. Sarah reached in and pulled out a large tool box and opened it revealing a wide verity of well what else? Tools.
"Let's get to work."
"1...2...3! Push!"
Dean and Sarah were under the roof of the car on the backs, legs pushing at the caved in roof. They both interlocked their arms making sure they would not fall off the seats as they pushed with all their might. It was starting to get dark out and they all been working on the mustang for what felt like hours.
There was a loud bang and the roof popped back into place.
"That's my boy!" Said Sarah turning her head to look at Dean.
Dean looked back smiling but saw the sadness in her eyes. Sarah quickly got up before he could say anything. Sarah hated talking about her feelings.
She walked over to her youngest brother who was under the hood.
She leaned up and ruffled his long hair that she missed so much.
"Hey Sammy boy."
Sam grinned loving that he heard his pet name again that she gave him so long ago.
Sarah walked over to the table with all her tools but turned to get a look at her brothers. They grew up so much since the last time she saw them. Well yeah she would check up on them. Disguise herself and watch from a fare. And even helped on cases with out them knowing. But now she was with them and her thoughts clouded her mind.
Dean was now the same hight as her and her little Sammy boy wasn't so little anymore or a boy. They were both full grown men. Both of their muscles grew in. And they were both as handsome as they were before she left. Just like she knew they be.
Both boys noticed her gaze on them and they stopped working
"Sarah? You ok?" Asked Sam
Sarah nodded and looked away back at her tools.
Sam and Dean exchanged worried looks before Dean walked over to her.
"Hey Sarah dont take this the wrong way but you look pretty good for a 38 year old." He joked
Sarah laughed
"Well it's just my natural beauty." She teased causing him to laugh
"Also a witch. Was in a ware house and kinda got in the cross fired. She made me younger. So technically I'm your age Dean."
His eyes widened in shock
"We are finding that witch."
Sarah laughed again
"Sorry to late."
"Dammit." He muttered
"Don't worry Deano I don't think any girls will be letting you down anytime soon."
Dean smiled. He missed his sisters playfulness and kindness. He also noticed that her shirt rolled up a bit. Sadness came over him as he stared at the scar left by the just above her waist."Dad she might not be dead we have to go back!" Screamed the 10 year old Sam in tears.
John let a tear slip down his cheek but wiped it away as he continues to pack.
"I'm sorry Sam but she is."
Dean leaned up against the door frame of the motel. He clutched the batman comic that they fought over for, only three hours ago. How it turned into a fun family moment of tickling and laughing. All turned into that by his big sister that was now 'dead'.
"NO SHE ISNT!" Screamed Sam
John flinched at his sons sudden out burst. That caused him to start crying. He sat down in the edge of his bed and sobbed into his hands. He killed her. He did this.
Deans features hardened.
"Don't you dare." He growled
John looked up at his oldest
"Don't you dare cry over her. THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!" Tears of anger rolled down his red cheeks "She loved us. She loved you. And she never gave up on any of us. BUT YOU! Had to get drunk and act like an idiot!"
He stomped up to his dad
"You maybe my dad. And I will always listen to you and repeat you. But I will NEVER forgive you for this. EVER!"
And with that he took the crying Sam in his arms and carried his little brother to the impala, like his older sister did when they were sad. Like she did when they fell asleep on the couch. Like she did when that fire happened. He carried Sammy. Because now he was the oldest. And he will never forget his sister. Both of their hero. The memory stung Deans head causing tears to fall from his eyes. Sarah gapped at him because Dean was a tough kid. He rarely cried.
"Oh baby." She whispered motherly pulling him into a hug.
"Don't cry. Dean please don't cry." She cooed rubbing his back.
Sam looked with sadness at his older siblings. He knew Dean took on the roll as older sibling after Sarah and after so long if that seeing her, he was a little freaked.
"D-don't e-e-ever l-leave a-a-again." Dean cried practically shaking. He was breathing hard and he felt like his body was being crushed.
Fear struck Sarah
"Dean calm down. Your having a panic attack."
She gripped his face wiping the tears from his face.
"Dean. Calm. Down. I'm here. I'm never leaving you or Sammy again. Im sorry I didnt come back. That I left you both alone. I love you guys."
Dean had calmed down and sighed running fingers through his short hair.
"N-no chick flick m-moments."
Sarah smiled and hugged him again
"There's my big tough boy. How bout we take a brake Huh?"
Both boys nodded and they all went inside.Bobby was at his desk having a drink when he saw the three siblings come in. He tried to hide his smile as they laughed about something and went over to the fridge getting beers.
Cas was in the living room flipping through channels. Even though he didn't know of much that was going on in most of the shows.
Dean came running into the living room crashing on the coach.
"Move off Cassie!" He laughed nudging his best friend.
Sam came running in with a movie in his hand.
"We are having a movie night!" He announced
Cas looked at them in confusion
"Movie night?"
They both smiled and nodded as Sarah came into the room with a large bowl of popcorn.
She sat on the ground leaning against the coach. Dean leaned over her and took a handful and Sam had left his seat to sit on the ground next to her.
"Hey Bobby! Get off your ass and come join us would ya?" Called Sarah
Bobby came into the room
"What are you idijits up to?"
"well us idijits are watching a movie." She stated "And you will join us weather you like it or not."
Bobby chuckled knowing not to argue with the red head and sat down in the chair Sam was in before. As the movie played, which was a Chuck Norris film, everyone ended up passing out except Sarah.
Sarah looked at the boys. The old drunk that practically took her in, trained her and looked after her. The Angel she just met but knew that would be good friends. Her brothers. One a bad boy leaning up against his angel's chest. A small smile on his handsome face. The other with moose like hight, who's head was snuggled up in the crook of her neck. His long hair soft and warm.
She was home and this was her family.
She kissed Sam's head and carefully laid him down on a pillow on the ground.
She took blankets and laid one on Bobby, Dean and Cas who were snuggled up together, and Sammy on the ground.
She chuckled shaking her head and walked into Bobby's office, sitting before a bunch of books.
Sighing to herself she got to work
"Let's get started."
