Day and Night (Sundrop and Moondrop x reader)

You wake up to the lights on. Sundrop holding you with his left arm and playing with your hair with the right. He was awake and it seemed he had been for awhile because when he noticed your eyes now opened he turned you to where you were facing his chest. As you looked up to see his bright and cheery face he spoke in his usual upbeat happy tone.

"Good morning sunshine! Did you sleep well?? Did I wake you??"

You wipe the sleep from your eyes and reply to him in your groggy morning voice.

"Morning sunny no you didn't wake me and I slept pretty well a little sore from sleeping in a different bed and I had an weird dream last night."

Looking at Sundrops face it seemed you peaked his interest.

"Oh please can you tell me about it sunshine?!!!"

He seemed very eager to hear what you had to say.

"Yes I can. So it felt so really I was in this room in the bed and there were red eyes above me. I wasn't scared it felt more like comfort and relief. The red eyes kept going to my neck and back up it was so odd."

You laughed as you finished the last part of your "dream" Sundrops face looked horrified as you did so. When you stopped laughing you saw Sundrops facial expression and began to worry.

"Is everything alright sunny. Why do you look like that? Please tell me. Was it something I said?"

Worry was filling your thoughts all the things that could go wrong in this situation what made him act like this? Your troubled thoughts came to a halt when Sundrop began talking again.

"Well Um....sunshine I'm not sure that was a dream. You see Um....when the lights go out I have what's called an alter ego and that's Moondrop...He can be troublesome and hurts people. He's not very nice and when I become him I can't remember what he does. Oh my goodness I hope he didn't hurt you!!"

He sat you both up on the bed and began padding you down lifting your arms and moving your head side to side to make sure you weren't hurt. He then noticed on your neck where the shirt looked uneven like someone was holding it back for a long period of time and it was now readjusting. He moved the shirt and was shocked to see teeth mark's they hadn't broke the skin but they were very prominent and darkened like a bruise. You just sat there the whole time very confused and still processing everything but now at least you knew why sundrop didn't like the lights off.

"Oh No Sunshine Moony bit you does it hurt??!!! Should I get the medkit?? Are you alright?"

Sundrop was panicked and gently traced his fingers along the teeth marks. His hands were cold and the spot was sensitive as he touched it you got shivers down your spine and bit your finger to hold back a whimper.

"Y-Yea sunny I'm fine I promise it doesn't hurt I didn't even know it was there and I don't think I'll need the medkit."

You padded Sundrop on the shoulder gave him a reassuring smile and got up. You took a few minutes to stretch and then looked in the small vanity located in the corner of the room. You couldn't see the bite marks but you could see the purple from the bruising from behind your messed up shirts collar. The whole time Sundrop was behind you looking worried as you examined your neck. You started to take off the sweater but Sundrop stopped you holding your arms down and seeking in a frantic voice.

"S-Sunshine what are you doing?!! You can't just take your s-shirt off in here!!"

After Sundrop let your arms go you turned around to face him.
