Day and Night (Sundrop and Moondrop x reader)

What weekends are for

So in this chapter we're meeting the others and chilling with sun I feel he's been neglected (≧(ｴ)≦ ). I don't want him to ban me from the daycare so this will be more tamed then the last two chapters, 'but smut warning.'

You wake up and for once Sundrop is still asleep your guessing him and Moondrop we're up late watching you sleep. It was kinda odd but they were programmed to watch over sleeping children to make sure they didn't get hurt in there sleep. You still felt bad because that means they had to stay up and do there job after hours. Now that you were thinking about it Sundrop and Moondrop had done so much for you already well mainly Sundrop but that's only because he was out when the lights were on. You looked over to the clock on the wall it was already 10am thank god that today way your day off. The Pizza-Plex is always closed on Sundays for church even tho most of the employees don't go to church. Trying to roll out of the bed Sundrop stop's you holding you closer and whispering in your ear.

"Oh sunshine it's so early go back to sleep."

His tone was soft and gave me goosebumps in a good way. I rolled over facing him now my hands on his face.

"But sunny I have a super fun day planned for us we can't sleep the day away."

You didn't actually have a plane but you were hungry and wanted to look around the place you hadn't really left the daycare at all besides when eating lunch and going to the underground hospital. When Sundrop heard you say surprise he jumped out of bed holding you in the air.

"Well why didn't you just say so!!! I would have been up hours ago!!"

His cheery tone was back and he spun you around a little before putting you down. Regaining your balance you look up at Sundrop.

"So game plan is first I get changed and eat from my snack drawer. And then later you'll get to do what you want but only after we do what I have planned okay sunny?"

"Alright sunshine but I'm not letting you just eat from that pathetic choice of a diet drawer. I'm getting you some real food from the kitchen because you can't live off of small cakes and chips ahoy forever."

He held my face and booped my nose as he said the last part. I gave him a dramatic sigh and pretended to pout crossing your arms and everything.

"But sunny I like those and if I try hard enough I can live off of my snacks."

"It's not good for you I know best I take care of children like you everyday."

I turned to look at Sundrop in shock. I looked him up and down and then stomped my foot.

"I'm not a kid you of all people should know that!"

I knew we were just playing I always hated when people called me a kid because I wasn't anymore and wanted to make that clear. I didn't mean to tell at Sundrop or even turn away from him and actually pout. He walked over to me picking me up and making me face him as he cupped my face in his hands and kissed me. I didn't expect that so the look of shock and embarrassment were something Sundrop didn't react to he simply knew that's how I would react. I pressed my face into his chest and hid my face still processing. While I was in dream land Sundrop had already taken me to the break room and into the bathroom so we could change my bandages. I only noticed when he started taking them off and the cold air from the vent blew onto my shoulder.

"Oh thanks sunny but you don't have to change it today. I'll be them off today because nobody will be here and because look it doesn't look like I'm half dead."
