Part six

Today was Jacks first day as a king - or more likely as the king of Tasore.
He woke up early so that he could do everything his father did every morning and that means washing his face and body, getting dressed and finally having breakfast and making a plan for today.

While he was washing his body he found a scar he got because of Elinore - because he needed to protect her a few moths ago.
<You are a little rebel Elli> he thought with a smile on his face.

He got the scar after she protected her family against some thief's that tried to rob them knowing that Jack was dating her.
That day he had gone for a walk after practicing sword fighting, he was just about to be at her house when he heard a scream of her mother who died that day.
He ran to the little house and as he was walking in he saw Elinore standing between her mother and the attackers. And now all looked at him just her mother wasn't paying attention to anything anymore.
All of that ended in a little fight between Jack and three of the thief's, the first two weren't a problem at all but the last one had a little knife and with that he attacked Jack right about the height of his knee.
And since than he had that scar the only one that he was proud of.
Elli cried a lot that day and he tried to be there for her sleeping in her old room in the castle with her, holding her little shaking body till she was asleep.

Jack got ready and was heading out to have breakfast.
When he was in the room he saw that his father was in his chair and the more luxurious chair his father once had was his from now on.
He was starting to feel weird sitting there when his father and his sister both watched him fascinated that he was awake so early without any help.
"Good morning father, good morning sis" he said while sitting down. After that a long discussion started about what he had to do today.
After a long day of doing his duty's he decided to practice a bit of sword fighting again.
One of the soldiers came to him helping him with practicing, one time the soldiers hit him with the sword on the left shoulder and a little bit on the chest.
As he hit the chest he also hit the necklace from elinore that he had put on - and he saw a little piece of paper with his name and a read this if I'm dead on it.
At first he was shocked and he ended the practice right then to run into his room and reading that little note.
As he began to read it he started to cry.

~Hello my love I don't know when you'll read this note or if you will ever find it. I just hope that you'll be alright, be strong honey because I wanted to tell you that my death wasn't normal.
I mean I'm sure that they will never told you why I left the world, why I died.
While I'm writing this I'm locked into this room. I know that they want to kill me, but I don't really know who it is. I think they poisoned me somehow I can't remember anything.
If I find something out I'll write it down look around the castle darling and watch out for yourself.
I love you Jack we'll see us again in the next life.

This letter was from her and he was very sure about it. He told her to write him under this name when they dated because no one should know about it.
He was crying a lot and made a plan up in his head to search in every corner of this castle to know what really happened.
And while making this plan he fell asleep.
