Part three

Jack woke up the next day feeling like he shouldn't be alive.
He heard the footsteps of his sister down the hallway knowing that she will wake him up again like every day just like Elinore did.
Sarah took her role after her death and he was thankful for that.
Just to help her out a little bit he stood up and took his bathrobe out the cabinet - he doesn't want his little sister to see him naked standing in his room.

His sister came in without knocking on the door because normally he wouldn't hear that.
"Hey Brother"she had a shocked look on her face"it's good seeing you awake and out of bed, get ready today is the day"
He saw a smile on her face might she be thinking that he's feeling good now.
"Yeah I'm getting ready Sarah, I'll there in 10minutes" she nodded with this cute smile on her face and happily running to the dining room.
He could hear a "he's happy!" Echoing in the hallway.

After Jack got ready he headed to the dining room.
Everyone was there sitting and waiting for him.
While he sat down his father began to hold a little speech.
"So today I'm leaving the throne to my Son " he started "I hoped it would be sooner but after all that happened" - everyone was looking down knowing that this part was about Elinore and Jack saw a little tear running down the face of his sister - "we need to be positive that we have a good life and I think it's a good time to start something new with a new King. I hope that everything will go good for you now Jack"
He sat down ending his little speech, Jack could feel all eyes looking at him.
"Thank you for everything father I'll try to be a good leader of this land and I'm happy to get this gift from you, but I think we should eat now you all waited for me so I think you are hungry just like me and we need the food for the day"
He practiced this sentence so often on his way to the dining room just to say this clearly and directly like his father.
Everyone began to eat their breakfast everyone appreciated the food they had in front of them knowing that it could be different.
Elinore was a normal girl, the daughter of the tailor and she told everyone about the day to day problems normal people had so they could be helped.
She was the person that was connecting between the Royalty and the 'peasants', it took quite a while till everyone really listend to her but it worked after Jack spoke to all people in the castle convincing to listen to her.
His father was the most problematic person in this whole castle, it took over 2 Years till he accepted the relationship - and with that - her, even though he never really liked her he just accepted her.
The only person being open hearted was his sister, she likes her very much, Sarah said all the time that she is like a big sister for her.
So no one wondered that his sister was crying a lot as she died just like Jack did.
