special chapter : dream

the girl frantically opened her eyes, gasping for air. her alarm clock blinked in front of her.

2:48 a.m.

sighing, she sat up on her bed. roaming her hands over the soft mattress, she noticed the cold empty space beside her. the room was dark, the only light illuminating a small portion of the bed being the light from the alarm clock.

she started spacing out. her mind reeled back to her dream.

'what was that about?'

she snapped out of it when she heard the door open. in came a young boy.

her lover boy.

"nami, you're still awake?" the boy asked.

nami shook her head no. "i just woke up."

he made his way beside her in bed. once he was settled in, the girl laid her head on his shoulder.

"aww, my darling couldn't sleep without me?" he asked teasingly, which earned him a playful punch on the arm.

"it's not like that yang! i just had a dream.."

"bad dream?" she nodded "mind sharing?"

so there they were. talking in the wee hours of the morning, enjoying each other's presence with out a care in the world.

the sun was rising by the time they drifted off to dreamland.

good thing the next day was a holiday.
