"How interesting?"
Ran watched as a girl was struggling to fight off three men who harassed her, his eyebrows raised as she witnessed her successful punch one, the man quickly countering though, grabbing a fist full of her blonde hair.

"Should we help her?"
Rindo glanced up at his brother a bit, hearing him hum in thought, taking his time as he continued to watch the spectacle, finally making up his mind as he saw the girl get struck in her stomach,

"Mhm."
Ran strolled into the alley first, Rin close behind-cracking his knuckles, Ran slowly pulled out his baton and smirked.
"It's rude to hit a lady~"

"You-"
The 'leader' seemed to shrink back a bit that the brothers appearances,
"Look-she owes us some money!"

"How much?"
Ran titled his head in curiously, pressing his baton to the man's neck,

One of the guy's goons went to swing in Ran, but Rin immediately apprehended him, pressing the guy to the ground and holding his right arm behind his back.
"Hmm? I don't think you need this arm~"
Rin whispered lowly, the man screamed and pleaded with him.

"Let him-"
The leader turned his head to Rin with one of his men and was about to take action, but Ran hit him hard across his face with the baton, the man stumbled back holding his left cheek.

"Answer me! And Rin-"
Ran smiled deviously at his brother,
"Take his arm."

With his older brother's order, Rin broke the man on the grounds arm, his screams echoed through the alley, the girl pressed herself against the wall holding her hands to he mouth in horror as she watched.

"It's just $100!"

"So you assault her? How long has it been since she acquired this debt?"

The leader held his breath, looking away nervously,
"She actually never had a debt...she just wouldn't do what I said and so-"
Ran struck the man even harder this time with his baton, the man sinking to his knees gripping his already swelling face.

"Rin, take her somewhere. I'm going to have a nice conversation with this man."
Ran glanced over at the girl who started shaking immediately upon eye contact, both brothers finding her fear cute.

"Come."
Rin pulled the girl up-she just complied, obediently getting dragged away from the situation to a bench across the street, it was starting to get dark out.
"You scared?"
Rin smiled at the girl as they sat down, his eyes looking over her like a hunter eyeing it's prey.

The girl nods but kept eye contact, oddly she just couldn't look away from him, stuttering out her first words to the male,
"Thank you both...you're Rin?"

"Mhm, what is your name? Or should I call you a pet name?"
He watched her nervous behaviors, the way she shifted next to him, the way she jittered he right leg, even how she picked at the pads of her thumbs.
"I won't hurt you ya know. I don't hit girls."

"My friends..they call me Sunni."
She spoke quietly, Rin nodding and then looking to the alley where his brother emerged, flicking the blood off his baton. Both brothers were actually very well behaved this fight to their surprise.

"How is your stomach birdie?"
He knelt in front of her, upon feeling his cold fingers on her stomach as he pulled up the girl's shirt a bit-she shivered.

"Birdie..?"
She tilted her head as she watch him, her heart racing. Rin rolled his eyes next to her, though he knew his brother was flirting with the girl and smirked at his sly gestures.

"You're tiny like a little bird. Do you not like it?"
Their eyes met and she flustered further, Ran looked away first though to focus on the large bruise on the center of her stomach.
"Rin do you think she should go to the hospital for this?"

"Hmm?"
Rin also placed a hand on the girl's stomach, enjoying the girl tremble at their touch, he nods and stood up,
"Yeah, just to be careful."

The brothers had never taken interest in a girl before. They were just as perplexed by their attraction to this random girl, truly if she wasn't attractive to them-they would have never saved her.

Though they felt the overwhelming desire to protect her, their attraction would soon develop into a deep possession.
And the girl would never realize how deep she had fallen into the rabbit hole that is the Haitani Brothers until much later...
