Look at those coconut sticks, I mean that narrow stick passing through the center of each coconut leaves.
In my mother tongue, it's called '𝙀𝙚𝙧𝙠𝙠𝙞𝙡'
I am going to talk about its usage. Maybe many things are common in other parts of the world too. but we can move to the subject.Well, it's called '𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐋𝐔'.Well, I am not going to talk about Am admi party.
It's the broom we used daily in our home in Kerala, daily means every morning and evening, to clean our 'muttam'(what's it called in English courtyard/surroundings?) My mother uses this to clean inside the home too😶...well like you can see it's made using coconut sticks😁.You know what coconut stick is an excellent 𝐓𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐔𝐄 𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐍𝐄𝐑 too😊. As per our parents, tongue cleaning is a must-do thing, or we can't pronounce Malayalam. They are almost right too otherwise 'zha' (ഴ )will become 'la (ള)'(not la in Hindi) 'ra'(ര ) became 'ra'(റ ) etc, and Malayalam is a highly sensitive language in case of pronunciation🤐🤐
Well sorry for the distraction from our original topic,
I can share the natural tongue cleaner making method😊Step-1💚:Take a coconut stick(break it from the center of the leaf in a suitable length)
Step 2💚:Again break it half from the middle (it's the hard part, you can use your fingernail)
Step-3💚:Use the rough side.
Okay just thatIt's an excellent stick for 𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆😬
Yeah, no I am not joking, the freshly taken coconut stick is painful. Unlike other parts, the 'flying chappal' thing isn't prevail in Kerala.
Rather our parents make us obey using this when we are kids. when we grow it changes to tamarind stick, and later 'chool' itself🙁.It used to connect things too..like in early days it used to connect plavila(jackfruit leaf) for use instead of a spoon🍂(well sometimes I find it weird like we are the people who still eat with our hands and our ancestors had to use a leafspoon🙄? okay let's leave it
It's also had a huge part in our 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐃𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐃
LikeA Game we play with coconut sticks❤️
