"Kagami! It's really you! It's so good to see you." He said, voice as sweet as melody. He walked towards Kagami, taking tiny steps before he was just half a metre away from her. The Japanese girl was still dazed by his figure and everything was happening really slowly for her like time stopped itself. Neither could Luka avert his eyes from the girl in front.

Still the same hair but slightly longer and smoother. He wished he could run his fingers through her hair. Her chocolate brown eyes, reminding him of Mother Nature which he admires most. Her peachy pink lips which pressed into a thin smile. Her body so fit yet so slender. Her tone abs which kissed her body perfectly. She had that graceful vibe which would put swans and ballet dancers to shame.

But what he liked the most was her freckles caressing her cheeks. Her specks of freckles were like constellations he could draw out with the tip of his fingers. He always admired the fencer for her confidence. Luka snapped out his gazing and realised Kagami was in her thoughts as well. Her eyes were quirked in a way. Luka tried waving his hands but couldn't get her attention so her tried calling instead.

Kagami blinked a few times when he started calling her name.

"I am sorry. I was just surprised to see she covered up and smiled slightly. Luka chuckled a bit before adding, "Me too. I didn't expect to see you here really. What are doing here, not that I am unhappy to see you."

Suddenly, everything that happened earlier came like a flash in her head. Everything went back to how it was. She furrowed her eyebrows, trying to hold back the tears that desperately wanted to escape her eyes. Her heart throbbed in pain, but she smiled weakly to put a façade in front of everyone. Luka frowned at her reaction. Clearly, she was having mixed feelings about his question. He didn't know what to do but just wanted to help the broken girl in front of him.

"Well, how about catch up over ice cream? Or do want to continue boxing?" Luka said changing the topic and can't help but scowl at the last sentence. Kagami bit her lips, sighing a relief at Luka's remark. Well, maybe keeping herself busy would keep her mind away from things wouldn't want to think about.

"Yeah, I guess, that would be nice." Kagami nodded in agreement. Luka smiled at her on delight. He didn't know why and how? But there were butterflies in his stomach and he never felt it before. He didn't know what the feeling was or why it appeared, but it felt good. A warmth his heart, in his heartbeat.

"Great! Get your things and we can go," Luka replied showing his pearly teeth. She nodded at him and went to get her water bottle. she took her hoodie and wore it over her body. Luka patiently waited for her. "Shall we?" Luka playfully joked as he winked. Kagami wanted to roll her eyes, but she just couldn't instead she giggled slightly and punched his shoulders slightly. Kagami walked in front as Luka followed behind her, admiring her. They walked towards the exit where the locker and the reception counter were.

"Could you wait for a while? I have to go get my things," Luka asked, politely. Kagami nodded. Luka walked towards his locker, took his guitar and water bottle and walked back towards a now waiting Kagami. Kagami was in deep thoughts when he walked towards her so when her called her, she squealed slightly and jumped a bit.

"Are you ok?" Luka asked worriedly. "Yeah, just give me a minute?" Kagami asked. Luka nodded, confused. Kagami walked towards the reception counter. The receptionist shuddered at her appearance. "Yes, mam? Can I do anything for you?" she asked, timidly as she shivered a bit. Kagami smiled guiltily at the woman who was rather shocked at Kagami's reaction.

"Well, I came here to say sorry. I was in a bad mood earlier and I shouted at you. But that is no excuse for my actions so sorry again," Kagami apologised. The woman was surprised at her. This was something she didn't expect at all.

"A-ah. I-it's ok," She blushed in embarrassment and in shock. "No, it isn't right. Please accept my apology," Kagami smiled.

"Thank you, Mam. I do accept your apology. It is really fine. I am glad," The receptionist came out from her shock and a thin smile kissed her lips.

Kagami smiled back at her and waved her a goodbye as he walked towards Luka.

"What happened?" Luka asked, worrying for his friend. "Ah, its nothing. Let's go now shall we?" Kagami asked changing the subject as she pulled Luka by the hand out of the Gymnasium. Luka furrowed his eyes, knowing the she wasn't telling truth but didn't push Kagami to tell.

They walked side by side towards Andre's ice cream, not knowing their hands were still intertwined. Everyone knew his ice cream was the best! They soon saw his cart by the bridge.

"Ah! My favourite people. How is your sister Luka? Did my special combination for her and her blonde hair friend work?" He asked wiggling his eyebrows. "It sure did Andre! Not a friend anymore, rather wife!" Luka replied as he chuckled.

"That is wonderful. And you Ms Kagami, never seen you since you came here with Adrien," he asked, friendly. Kagami's face faltered at that. But what was weirder was Luka frowning at hearing Adrien's name like her was jealous. Jealous for Marinette or Kagami? "Ah, yes. Last I came here with Adrien. I went to Japan but now I'm back," Kagami whispered audibly.

Andre noticed the waver in her voice and decided cut the silence. "So, I presume both of you are here to share a ice cream cone, right?" He asked, taking a big cone from his cart. They looked at him confused. Couple cone?

"Oh no no. We are nothing like that. We are not sharing a cone. We are not dating." Luka immediately said, clearing the confusion. Andre realised his mistake but smiled internally. He knew they were made for each other. "Oh? I thought you guys were dating. I mean your hands are intertwined," Andre said, pointing at their connected hand.

Both of them trailed their eyes to their hands. They looked up, eyes connecting. Realising the small distance between each other, they let go each other's hands, averting their heads to the opposite direction as a sheer rose shaded blush tinted on Kagami's cheeks while a tawny rose shaded blush kissed Luka's cheeks. Kagami slapped herself internally for being so mushy.

Andre awed at them internally but their cheesiness was getting to him. He coughed at them to get attention but their blushing just go intense. Kagami calmed herself. "We will just get your specials, Andre," she quickly said, her sentence being rushed. Luka just nodded, shyly.

"Ok! Two specials coming up," he said, a plan forming inside his head. "Mint chocolate chip for the hair, blue moon for the eyes and strawberry for the lips for Ms Kagami. Blueberry for the hair, chocolate for the eyes and white chocolate raspberry for the lips for Luka." Andre said as he gave them the ice cream. The two took the ice cream without hesitation and they didn't think much of it.

"Thanks Andre. Here you go," Luka said handing the cash towards him. "Oh no no. Free for my favourite customers!" Andre said pushing the money away from him. "B-but," Luka started.

"No buts. You go enjoy you lovely date," he said, making both the adults blush once again. "Thanks, Andre. Bye!" Kagami replied, bowing slightly. Andre smiled at them. As the oblivious couple walked towards a bench nearby, Andre muttered, "I hope they will find each other in the end like how Marinette and Adrien found each other. It can't too late. They can't hurt themselves. Love is just painful."
