Chapter 15

I noticed that a few weeks ago, I haven't seen Alex. I think he is sick. I'm starting to get worried.

"You seem gloomy. Tell me. What's wrong?". Nicole. I didn't notice that she is beside me. "I haven't seen Alexander for days. I think he is sick.", I said.

"Maybe he's just busy.", she stopped talking as she looks at a different direction. "Speaking of the devil, here he comes now! Wait?", she stopped talking again. What's happening?

What the heck! Is that Alex.......
WITH A GIRL!?

"Alex is with a girl?", she asked. "Hi guys! I want you to meet Leah. She's my girlfriend.", Alex said. I was suppose to speak when suddenly Nicole grabbed my hand.

"We're heading to the C.R. We'll be back in a while." Nicole said. The both of us went to a different direction. Wait?! Is she.... CRYING?

"It's too late, Krystal. It's too late.". Huh?
"What is too late, Nicole?" I asked.

"I'll be honest to you. I have a huge crush on Alex.". Oh she has a crush on-- What?! She has a crush on Alex?!

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked. "I was afraid that you would laugh at me. But now, since it's too late, it would be the right time to tell you.", she said between her sobs.

I hugged her so that she could calm down.
"It's okay, Nicole. Show it to him that you are strong. Don't forget, there are a lot o fish in the sea.", I said that to encourage her.

"You're right, Krystal. Thanks for being my friend.", she said. Glad I could help. We went back to the cafeteria. We saw Alex and Leah.

Nicole has put on a poker face. Was my speech too motivating? Haha. Joke. As we sat in front of Alex & Leah, she still has her poker face. "So, Alex. When did Leah answer you?", I asked.

"Well, she just answered me yesterday.", he answered. "Nicole, is there something wrong?", Alex asked. I think that made Nicole mad, because she slammed the juice that she was drinking on the table.

"Nothing. There is no problem", she answered, blandly. "Aside from you having a girlfriend", she murmured. I elbowed her. "What did you say?", Leah asked. She stood up. "Nothing. And I'm about to leave.", she walked out.

Afternoon
I went to the library. I'm gonna read some pop fiction books. Let's see, Fearless Queen, Realize, Black Equation, The Bachelor. Ooh! Must Date The Playboy!

I reached for the book but someone's hand got hold of it too. "Oh, I'm sorry. Here you have it.", I said. "No. You have it. It's okay.", he handed me the book.

"Hi. I'm D.O.", he said. He's a part of EXO.
"Krystal. Thank you, D.O.", I said."You seem familiar. Like I know you.", he said. By the way, he looks familiar. Like I know him since... grade school.

"Excuse me, D.O.?".

"Yes, Krystal?".

"Do you have a friend who is a girl, also a bookworm, who was your partner in English class?", I asked. "Why yes, I do. Why do you know so much?", he asked.

OMG! Then it is, "Oh my gosh! It's you, Kyungsoonie!", I said then I hugged him! It really is him. "Krystal! Its been so long! I miss you!".

"Sshhhhhhh!". Oops, I forgot we were in a library. "How did you enroll here?", I asked.
"Long story.", he said. We sat down. We exchanged stories. Wait! I know!

"Hey, D.O.? How come you are a part of EXO."I asked. "Well, they say that I have a talent of singing. That's why they joined me in.", he said.

Oh? He's good in singing, eh? "I would like to meet EXO one day.", I said. "You will, Krystal. Not today. Maybe Friday?", he said.
"Okay", I said.

It was nice to meet with an old friend.
