Chapter 1~The Wars

Info:   Ranboo's father is sick but can still move  due to  a certain medicine he drinks 2 times a day

Ranboo POV

I got woken up by someone gently shaking me,I slowly opened my eyes to see the maid,Avery shaking me,she stopped and smiled,taking a few steps back before speaking "Good Morning,Prince Ranboo. Your father is calling you downstairs,you should get ready."

I lazily got up and walked to the bathroom to see the bathtub has already been filled up,I turned around and looked at Avery,who still had her sweet gentle smile on her face,I hinted at her that I can dress myself on my own. Avery nodded,bowed and left. I took a bath.

After showering

Once I already put my suit on,(top pic) I went over to my vanity and put my crown on my head,(top pic)I also took my black and white mask(Ranboo's signature mask) on to cover my face. No one really saw my face except my family,maids and some of the guards.

I went downstairs to my father sitting down on his throne,"Good Morning Father,what did you need me for?" I asked,my father got up from his throne and walked towards me.

I took a few steps back. He put his hands on my shoulders and said,"Tomorrow is your coronation day,you probably already know that by now. I forgot to inform you that after tomorrow,you will be getting a personal knight." My eyes widen,"But father,I can defend myself! And besides,I would be the king,everyone would respect me." I said,thinking my father thinks I'm defenseless.

My father sighed and shook his head,he took his hands off my shoulders and put them behind his back.

"Listen,I have been keeping this a secret from you for a very long time." He said calmly,he sighed before speaking again,"Our kingdom and the Dreamon Kingdom have been at war ever since the 3rd rulers of this kingdom. Once Dream who is the king of the Dreamon Kingdom finds out that you became king,who knows what would happen. It is possible that you could get killed,or the kingdom could get burned or exploded or worse."

My eyes were even more widen than before and my mouth was agape. "I knew you would be shocked once you find out about this." Father said while shaking his head,"Anyway,moving on from the topic. There will be a new employee,who apparently forced the guards to give him the job. I want you to give him a tour of the castle." I pretty much calmed down cause we were on another topic,but I was confused and raised an eyebrow at my father. "But dad,isn't that the butler or the maid's job?" I asked confused,"Yes,But all the workers are quite busy since your-" Father got cut off due to him coughing,he started wobbling a bit.

"Dad,are you okay? Do I need to get the guards?" I asked very concerned,"No no son,I'm fine-" He got cut off again,he fainted and fell to the ground.

"DAD!" I yelled,"GUARDS! FATHER FAINTED AGAIN!" I yelled again with dad laying on the floor,possibly dead.

Narrator POV

The guards ran over to Ranboo and his father. They picked Ranboo's father up and ran to the apothecarie with Ranboo running behind them.
