Chapter 3 - Castle's Castle - P.1

I was now on the streets, running back to Kate's aunt's house. I was sticking to the alleyways, gave me more cover.

I had gotten the handcuffs off and I was still wearing the suit given to me by the court.

I hope it's just the cops after me and not The Punisher as well.

Cops were all over the street and some were now starting to look in the alleyways. I was probably gonna get caught but I won't be going to jail.

Anyway. I was currently hiding in between dumpsters. I'd took my things back when escaping the court so I take out my phone and call Kate.

She answers.

Jack: Kate.

Kate: Jack, what the hell!?

Jack: I know but I'm not going inside, not for that bullshit. You need to trust me, you need to tell Matt to find camera footage of Walker in the wrong. Are you still at the court.

Kate: We're on our way home, why?

Jack: I'll be there soon. Don't go anywhere.

I hang up.

I get up from between the dumpsters and start back up to Kate's aunt's house.

After having to sneak back to the house, I finally got there.

I knock on the door and she answers.

Kate: Jack.

Jack: Kate, everything been okay here?

Kate: Yeah. 

I go inside and she follows me in.

Everything was not okay here as there was a man sitting on the couch holding a pistol.

Jack: Kate... who's this?

?: The man in charge.

Karen, Clint and Matt's friend was here.  No Matt though.

Jack: Why you doing this?

?: I'm taking everything from you... after you took everything from me.

He stands up and faces me.

I know who he is... this is Cole Walker's son, David.

Jack: You little son of a bitch.

David: Shut up! You don't get to talk.  You and your friends are gonna watch this video and your not gonna do anything  unless I say!

He puts something on the TV.  I knew what it was right away.  It's the footage Walker killing all 31 of my soldiers.

David: You remember this... don't you?

I was looking away and the others watched.  This is the footage I need to win over these charges.

I was turned around just staring at the wall as I heard what was happening on the TV.  That bastard David was laughing.  I'm gonna tear him in half.

After a few minutes the video stops.

No one said anything.  Only David was laughing.

Jack: I'm gonna kill you same way I killed your dad.  Two bullets in the head and stick your head on a pike.

David: You keep dreaming.  Anyway, as much as I'd love to stick around and "chat".  I have to be getting back.

He starts walking to the entrance.

David: Oh, one more thing...

BANG

Jack: NOO!
