Me and the others arrive back at our hideout. I was barely hanging on.
They got me onto a bed and Frank got Curt some medical tools.
Glad I was unconscious for this.

Curt has complete the little operation he had to do to save my life. The adrenaline rush saved my life he says. If I didn't get that I would've died during torture.
He had to stick a needle into me and draw out the blood blocking my lungs. First time I've had surgery since I was a kid and broke my arm.
I was still in pain from everything.
I don't think my ribs were broken but it sure felt like they were, maybe they were and I was just used to it by now
The bullet wound in my leg was patched up, as was everything else that happened to me that night. I was still in a lot of pain but at least I won't die. Curt did well keeping me alive, he's a fine soldier.
Clint was okay, nothing major was done to him.
Everyone else was alright apart from Kate. Nothing physical but I could tell that last night effected her big time.
My face was all cuts and bruises. I just can't believe he cut my finger off, prick. Anyway, I wasn't moving from this bed to go see Kate but luckily she came in the room.
Kate: Hey.
Jack: Hi.
Kate: Are you... are you feeling better?
Jack: No, but maybe now your here.
She smiles a little then sits down on a chair beside the bed.
Kate: I seen... what you did to... Rawlins.
Jack: I-uh-he-
Kate: It's okay, I understand. He did some horrible shit to you.
Jack: It's not that... I was more worried about you. Kate, I-
Kate: I was so scared, I had no idea what they would do to me. But I knew you'd be there to get me out of whatever it was, you always have since we met.
Jack: I'd... I'd do anything for you, Kate.
We were looking each other in the eyes. Looking into this beautiful brown eyes just wanted me to tell her everything I'm feeling and just... I don't know, just, talk to her.
Jack: I was gonna tear that whole building apart if they'd so much as laid a finger on you.
Kate: I know. Your- your a hero.
Jack: I'm a killer. Just like everyone else in that warehouse except I was taught under the right people and they weren't.
Kate: Jack, you may be a killer but your a hero. A hero, you always will be. And yeah, maybe you have killed people but all for the protection of the... the ones-
Jack: All for the protection of the ones I love.
Kate: ...
I was about to say something else but someone walked in the room. It was Karen and... Daredevil, the fuck?
Jack: Well, would you look at that.
Karen: It's not what you think.
The Daredevil goes to take off his mask and does so, revealing...
Jack: What the shit?
Matt: Hey, Jack.
Jack: My blind lawyer is the devil?
Matt: Something like that.
Jack: Jesus, my life just won't stop gettin
weirder. Then everyone else comes in to the room.
Frank: So...
Clint: We need a plan.
Jack: I can't do much from this bed.
Clint: I mean for when you recover, which is probably about a month or 2
Curt: Don't think we have that long til... either Fisk and Russo find us or they leave the city.
I sit up on the bed.
Jack: I have a plan.
...
...
...
6 Weeks Later...
It's been almost 2 month since everything happened at that warehouse.
I was healed for the most part, everyone else doing fine.
Been discussing with Frank, Curt, Matt and Kate the plan for taking down Russo and Fisk. We were gonna move on them in a few days once we finally get the plan locked down.
Frank and Curt will go after Russo while me, Matt and Kate deal with Fisk once and for all.
We were gonna attack them while they were at there new skyscraper. It's still being built but the outside is done for the most part. Fisk's building is still being built on the outside due to it being 2 joint skyscrapers with a little bridge connecting the 2.
My ribs are healed, still a tiny bit sore but only because the bruise is not gone yet.
I'd gotten my 1911 back thanks to the others getting our things back from the warehouse.
Currently, I was with Kate in the car on the way to her parents house as they want to another family dinner, glad they've waited til now because I would've went looking like I'd been... in a gun and fist fight with multiple men at a warehouse where I came out on top because "I'm the best aaarroound, nothings eva gonna keep me down!".
Anyway, dinner... again.
We arrive there.
Kate: Please, no fencing this time or you might genuinely fall apart.
Jack: Don't worry, Miss Bishop. I'll stay well clear of any fencing.
Kate: Thanks, you weirdo.
Jack: You know everything you say takes a toll on me.
Kate: Oh, shut up. If I wanted to, I could have you in tears with words.
Jack: Duly noted.
We go inside.
Kate: Hello? Mom?
No answer, somethings wrong.
Kate: Mom? Jack?
We go into the living room, no one there. We go to all the other rooms in the house and no one was here.
Kate: Where are they, if they weren't gonna be in they would've called ahead, right?
Then it feels like time starts going slow, as if it's paused and is letting me assess what is about to happen.
We were standing beside a big-ish window, which faced another building.
Then the door opens and it was Kate's mother and the other Jack.
Eleanor: Oh, your already here.
Kate: Yeah. Where were you?
Eleanor: At the store.
Jack. D: Anyway, we're back now so let's get to dinner.
Dinner with the Bishops... again.
